This hotel is near Luebeck but is definitely situated in the country. So, it would be perfect for visiting, and then retreating from this World Heritage city. It would also be great if you had time to relax and just sit in the garden or enjoy the countryside. The location is unbeatable, just minutes from Schwerin Castle and Marienplatz. The rooms are spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is exceptional. It was also very quiet after 10 PM. We skipped the pricey hotel breakfast and went to the cheaper restaurant on the corner instead. For dinner, George's Restaurant (located right inside the hotel) is absolutely worth it and has an amazing wine selection. The hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant, 1751, was closed during our visit.

Kathrin was so helpful and kind! I brought my aunt and uncle and the 1 bedroom suite was perfect - the sofa bed was super comfortable for me, and I’m a picky tall gal! Literally the only wish would’ve been for feather pillows (comforter was down), but we also didn’t inquire. The offer was there to dial in bed stiffness, which we didn’t need. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh! And espresso drinks on offer as well
