The highlight were the lovely warm pools and the surrounding hikes. If you are are club member everything is xclent...if you are a discount hotel.com guest you get a noisy room next to laundry with view of fire escape...a nd breakfast in basement. With focus on pools and hiking it is good. If ya have kids, they have some fun bits. The one bar staff guy was lovely happy and friendly...but everyone else was...just okay.
The property itself is old, but extremely quaint and charming. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The views and breathtaking, you feel completely transported to another era. Breakfast is delicious and the staff went above and beyond. They could not have been nicer and more accommodating.
The area itself is remote and there is no transportation, so you will definitely need to book a car service or rent a vehicle.
Beautiful grounds and setting - but you must drive to town for dinner or entertainment. A relaxing getaway in a farmhouse setting. Best to stay here during the warm months to take full advantage of their property and grounds
Ok, this place is amazing. Cleaner than clean. More comfortable than you can imagine. The staff friendly and very accommodating. Beautiful hamlet converted to a farm stay. First class all the way. If you’re in Tuscany, near Anghiari, you owe it to yourself to stay here. We booked for one night….decided to stay for 3! Loved it loved it loved it! Thank you to Marco, Roberta, and Lorenzo. You’re an awesome family. PS. The food and wine prepared for us was out of this World!
I really enjoyed my trip. Easy to find, in the middle of the city, no problem with nearby parking space (free) the hotel was perfect for my needs. Clean, spacious room, good shower, comfortable bed, super strong a/c which is really important in the warm summer months. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and recommended a really nice restaurant 3 minutes walk from the hotel.
In the morning, before my day trip I used the spa at their sister hotel (hotel Via Roma 33) just down the road...
Other than finding the property address wasn’t available on my TomTom everything else was fine. Very attentive and helpful receptionist, incredible views. Adequate but simple breakfast. Nice bathroom but the shower unit was small and rather flimsy. Very comfortable bed and good reading light which often seems lacking in Italy.
We loved our stay, our hosts and their staff. Our only suggestion would be to be aware that there are no restaurants within walking distance. Other than that, it was beautiful, relaxing and very comfortable
