Earlier reviews showed some extreme emotions regarding this hotel. Personally, the opportunity to stay in a lodging from the 1600’s was something I couldn’t pass up. I was not disappointed. The restaurant downstairs added to the ambiance, with the sounds of dishes clattering, clanging bottles, and patrons reveling.
