"Room was accessible from an interior hallway as well as outside, handy for loading and unloading the car. It was pouring rain when we arrived and quite chilly for a summer evening so I was delighted when I realized the floor in the room was heated! (No carpeting in the room) The on-site restaurant was fantastic, great food great service!"

"Beautiful property and rooms! Lots of amenities! Staff were great-room was clean. Only two things which were bad. Our room was right by an inside hallway door. So we heard that banging all night when other guests were going to rooms. Also, sadly-the dining room for breakfast was awful. No service-and it happened to be a buffet that day. Food was just like other hotels free breakfasts. Not great. Didn’t even have juice. And it was priced high. Other than that-would definitely stay there again!"

"We had an excellent stay at the Harbourview Motel and Port Hawkesbury was a great location to stay before heading out to drive the Cabot Trail. We had booked one of the motel rooms online, but upon arrival the owner kindly informed us that there had been a cancellation and upgraded us to Room #1 in the Inn free of charge. If you are staying in the Inn you are able to pull your car up directly to the front door which makes unloading/loading very convenient. The check-out process was also extremely convenient as we simply had to leave our key in your room and leave. We did not visit the onsite cafe during our stay, so I cannot speak to that experience. Finally, just note the nearby streets are extremely steep, so take caution when driving to/from the Motel, especially if you are visiting during poor weather conditions."
