The building is beautiful and for those arriving on the gorgeous old train, it overlooks the terminal station. The restaurant is great, and the outdoor grill smells wonderful. The family that runs it spoke fluent English and were warmly welcoming but left us alone when they realized we aren't chatty. The breakfast (9 euros) was delicious, with homemade apple cake. We had an excellent stay in suite Zitta, perfect view, comfortable bed, clean jakuzzi, big and clean bathroom with everything you need, spacious terrace, tasty breakfast, parking for everyone, not close to taverns, you need a car.

This was a beautiful hotel with large comfortable rooms and great amenities. The breakfast was great with a nice selection. We were given an upgrade upon arrival which made it nice traveling with two children. The rooms were very clean and the location was great. This is a great little town with lots of beach front dining and a couple of places to shop. The community is very welcoming to tourists and the food at every restaurant or cafe we tried was great! Would return and recommend.
A truly beautiful and special place. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which was so lovely and provided the perfect amount of space for us and our teenage daughter. The hotel was lovely, with real charm and character. We wish we could have spent longer in Portaria!
Unfortunately we only stayed for 2 days it was a quick buisness trip but I have been to other hotels in Volos & Portaria and the Valeni is hands down the most relaxing and all of the service was excellent I have absolutely no complaints. Food was great, Coffee was excellent, pool was fun, the views at night were great also.
What a wonderful hotel!!! The hotel was elegant, very clean, very thought out. There wasnt anything missing. There was even a kitchenette an a Nespresso machine, which was a lovely touch. The rooms were very comfortable in size. Even the elevator was pretty. Tonia who greeted us and checked us in was just lovely and as quick as you can get to satisfy your needs. In minutes she found a hairdresser one of us needed, she made reservations at a fabuloys local pub/eatery famous for their appetizers...
An amazing place to spend a vacation in pilion region. Christos, our host was so nice to us, with super helpful tips each morning how to spend the day. The rest of the staff are very nice, professional and kind. The swimming pool is just gorgeous, with an amazing view. What can i say moor? I could easily spend another month there. I highly recommend this place.
