This is a good place for family. The room is clean. The share kitchen is very convenient to use.
It is only one min to the main attractions in the little town.
It's a lovely guesthouse in a former school building, with a small room but a comfortable common area and a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views of the fjord. The area is a bit isolated--just a tiny village, and it takes over an hour to get there from the main road by a steep winding dirt road. We hiked up the hill, but the trail isn't well maintained. It's a great place for peace and quiet, but not as a base for exploring the eastern fjords.
Room was clean & spacious, amenities were good, excellent heat/hot water, parking was right out front of the unit. Nice quiet town. The "Cafe Cozy" 1/2 a block over was a great lil spot for food and drink, the owner was a really nice guy. Yes the room was basic but perfect for our needs and met expectations.
When we arrived our room hadn’t been cleaned and the staff was very apologetic and worked quickly to clean our room and paid for our dinner while we waited. Excellent customer service.
we were fortunate to stay two nights here. Super friendly staff and we loved spending time with the resident dog and arctic fox. So quiet and the little cabins are the cutest. We were able to do laundry and just relax after a few busy days. Can't say enough about this cute place
Beautiful view of lake. We stayed in the spring and at 11:30 at night. You have a beautiful view of the church across the street reflecting in the yard. If you check in late, there is a barcode you can take a photo of And they will give you a key code for your room. The room was clean and comfortable! Five stars would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely amazing. There are three areas to stay. Cabins, long single story building with private little outlooks/access to woods, and a hotel type. We stayed in the one level building and it was incredible. So quiet and clean. Large rooms. Perfect views for the lights right out your room. Staff was SO nice. Fav hotel in Iceland.
