We loved staying here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room had a great Mountain View. It’s one of the cutest hotels we’ve stayed in. I wish there was a drop box for keys, we left early in the morning but the lobby was locked so we couldn’t check out. We left our key in the room and called the hotel at 7 am to let them know. We had already prepaid so it wasn’t a big deal. Highly recommend this cute little getaway hotel.

This hotel was awesome. One thing to note, there is an old, historic side (red roof) and a modern addition (left side). We stayed in both - more on that in a moment. First off, the staff, all of them, are amazing. We were there two nights, morning staff, evening staff, wait staff, every single person was wonderful, We even said something to the hotel manager about how professional everyone was, particularly the front desk. The front deskman who dealt with a s*** storm the day before when...

We absolutely loved our stay at Ásgeirsstaðir Cottages!! We wish we could have stayed more than just a night, but we had to move along to our next destination. The cottage was perfectly equipped with everything one might need. The beds were comfortable, there was a cozy living room and dining area, and our particular cabin was at the end of the road on the edge of a beautiful lupine patch. This was the perfect place to relax after a day of driving. We opened the windows and listened to the...

We had a good night here. The room was spacious and the kitchen had enough to cook that night. Beds were comfy. The guesthouse seemed new so it had everything you needed. The shower curtain could be changed more frequently, as it had pink mold on the bottom of it. Since there was no exhaust in the bathroom, if you opened the window while showering, it created a vacuum that made the shower curtain blow onto you and then the nasty bottom of the shower curtain was touching your legs. Other than...

Charming Little Hotel in a Great Location! What a quaint and charming little hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. The room was cute and cozy, the restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff were absolutely phenomenal! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The location was fantastic! We were able to walk to a local brewpub that had phenomenal food and beer. The hotel is also close to a beautiful little church that makes for a great photo opportunity. One thing to be aware of: if you...
