"We had a wonderful 7-night-stay at MonteBay Perla. Perfect location for a family trip (5km outside of Kotor, with a little beach right in the front of the hotel), nice and kind staff, free parking at the hotel (very practical as we learned that parking can be a nightmare around the Bay, at least in July), magical view from the restaurant, the room was fresh, spacey and clean (we had a Junior Suite in the upper building) with a nice, big balcony. Although you need to be aware because this is in the old city, you have to walk a distance to get to it with your luggage. Then once onsite you have to climb 2 flights of steps to get to your room, no elevator. Also because it’s in the center of things and a very very old building it was very noises. So if you’re a little sleeper you’d want to stay at a place...

"I wish I could give the staff Alex and Tea (?) ten stars. This cozy, immaculately clean and yet historical boutique hotel is one of our favourite stops yet. It is directly across from the ferry operations but somehow extremely quiet, the small pool had my son entertained for hours, the staff will provide poolside service with drinks, the homemade cookies on arrival are *delightful*, the breakfast is so so good i wouid dare say skip some traditional Montenegrin food at restaurants bc this hotel...
