"This amazing mountain retreat felt instantly at home with the owners that made us all feel like family. The room was not only spacious but it included an incredible view of the whole valley which no picture can appropriately show. Another thing a picture could not describe was the incredible clean mountain pine tree fresh smell that felt like medicine with every breath. The breakfast buffet was quite incredible as was the dinner we had. The only thing we would have changed was the length of our reservation… Looking back, we wish we would have been able to stay longer! My wife and I recommend this to all who are looking for a wonderful retreat resort and even those who like us came to the area to see Orava Castle. Booking this amazing hotel and you will be wonderfully delighted and recharged for what’s next after your return from vacation. Next time we are in Slovakia this resort is first on our list."

"They charge extra for the pool which wasn't clarified on their listing. And even if you paid the about 10 dollars for 2 hours, the pool isn't even open during hours that are most convenient. They didn't even open the pool until 3pm and closed it before 10pm. No morning swims. Plus there was construction going on somewhere in the building, so around 10am for most of the day you heard that. But the staff was very good and nice along with the rooms. Excellent kitchen and comfortable beds. Convenient location to downtown, train station and grocery store."

"Lovely little hotel in a lovely part of town surrounded by gardens and a lake, all floodlit at night. Large comfortable room. Good meals. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here "
