Absolutely wonderful stay! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the property is stunningly beautiful. Breakfast was exceptional with delicious coffee and juice. We loved it so much we extended our trip! Highly recommend staying!
Nice location and easy walk from the railway station and return to the inner city with its attractions. Super that breakfast, afternoon coffee and evening buffet were in the price.
The pictures do not do it justice. If you are from North America this will give you the ultimate cozy Scandinavian vibe. The lighting, candles even during breakfast, and room decor was such a welcome in the cold rainy days in October. It was bare bones with no conditioner, shampoo, hair dryer but still simple, cozy with warm people working there. The beautiful library is across the street and great to see. So quick and easy to the downtown centre. Centrally located. We loved our stay!!
We absolutely loved this place! The owners of the inn were super friendly. The room was wonderful; clean and comfortable. It was very quiet, so we slept really well. If we ever come back to Öland, we will definitely try to book here again! (P.S. They also have a sweet golden retriever - extra stars for that!)
Do not let the exterior fool you. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are relatively spacious compared to other European hotel rooms, you have a private bath, there's no a/c but the windows open and there's a fan. The breakfast buffet was minimalist, but there is a communal kitchen to which you have access 24/7. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is located a block from a grocery store and less than a mile from Gamla Stan. The hostess is incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough good things...

Clean and well maintained. hotel has its own restaurant and it is attached to a Gas/convenience store and oddly a Burger King. Easy stop that has it all.
