The Links Country Park Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I arrived on Friday and was greeted by a lovely member of staff. They advised me on the use of the on site restaurant ,leisure facilities ( beautifully kept golf course shame I forgot my clubs). The room was clean with crisp white bedsheets Overall a lovely place to stay and would recommend"
Wellington Apartments

George Hotel, BW Signature Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, quiet but close to city centre. Free parking. Good bar."
Marlborough Hotel
8/10 Good
"Clean and safe, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient for the station, the river walk, and the centre. Many pubs, restaurants, and cafes in walking distance. However amenities were a little lacking, even for the price. I stayed for two nights, first in a 3-person family room and then in a single with shared bathroom. The WiFi was patchy in the first room and didn’t always reach my room, and there was no bedside lamp or way of switching off the main light from the bed in the second, so it was very inconvenient to read in bed. The toilet was very close to my room and free whenever I needed to use it but there was no hook or shelf for my towel and toiletries (no sink in my room) and no hand towel. The shower was just a closet in the corridor with a shower inside, just one hook on the door and no dry place to change or store clothes, so presumably if I’d had a shower I would have had to go to and from my room in a towel. For this reason I didn’t use the shower. There was also no shelf in the shower for toiletries, just a small holder for shampoo or something. I think it was probably designed by a man who uses all-in-one shower gel/shampoo, lol. I’d stay again because the price is good but probably not for more than a night in the shared bathroom single room because of the shower situation. I’d suggest to the hotel that they could make a few small changes (hooks and a shelf in the shared toilet, bedside reading lights, another extension for the WiFi)"
Dunston Hall Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort
10/10 Excellent
"One approaches the hotel with a drive through beautiful woodland and then arrive at a breathtakung Elizabethan revival manor house, the archtecture is truly impressive and the interior does not disappoint either. Our room was immaculate and the facilities are top drawer, Swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and a very smart spa. If golf is your thing there is a lovely golf course and driving range. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful which helps to create a very pleasant and relaxing vibe, all of which makes Dunston the perfect place for a relaxing break, we will definetly be coming back. Well recommended."
The Pheasant Hotel, Holt, Norfolk
10/10 Excellent
"Just had a wonderful stay at The Pheasant, Holt, Norfolk. The hotel was very comfortable, lovely bedrooms and equally lovely seating areas downstairs. We were out and about most of the time, as one would expect to be on a short vacation however, the ambience and comfort when at the hotel was simply wonderful. As for the staff:-just beautiful and helpful- each and every staff member is. They simply made our stay. Thank you and hope to visit again soon. Kay Bhandal."
