From the first interaction with Steven in reception (complimentary glass of wine upon arrival), to their willingness to help. I had a race and was not able to take advantage of their buffet breakfast, however the kitchen was kind enough to prepare me a plate of food that was amazing upon my return back to the hotel. The birding on the property was great, especially walking the road away from the highway (Scarlet Macaws and Howler Monkeys when we arrived!). The tower provided wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Abram was a great host who prepared delicious meals for breakfast and dinner. I found the mattresses to be a bit too firm, but our kids slept like rocks. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues, like a bathroom door that didn't fully close. It was a very quiet place Very clean. Easy check in and out. Owner was quick to respond via messages. Would be a great place to stay for a honeymoon.

The hosts Jan and Avtar gave me such a warm and inviting welcome! My original flight was cancelled, so I arrived very late at night to the property. At night you can see the stars so incredibly clear from the pool or from your rooms balcony. Waking up in the morning in this very lush oasis in the city of Atenas was so peaceful. We stopped here one night as part of a longer road trip. The room was comfortable - great AC and shower and the Wifi was great. Beds are double not queen so a little small. The pool area was nice but needed a little cleaning up. We didn’t have breakfast as we left before it was available at 7.30am.

This was my retreat experience and was delighted by the place. I see that EXPEDIA rates it at 3 1/2 star but would consider this place much higher. The place is very new and decorated in a calm, simple but yet stylish way. The setting on the side of the mountain offers stunning views and the sound of the forest is so peaceful. I was blown away by the attention of the employees, they are genuine and kind. If you are concern about the semi/raw diet...don't be!! I was so surprise on how good...

I traveled with my son and guest to Costa Rica to experience the country for the first time. Me for the wildlife and escape, my son for the volcanoes. We got EVERYTHING. Great place for relax and detox time. Eco-friendly lodge with awesome gardens, trails and a waterfall. Bungalows have a great view to the mountains. Excellent and healthy food. Road requieres a 4WD, but it is NOT dangerous, just bumpy.

I loved this private property and the owners of the property Lazara & Alex. We rented the deluxe bungalow. It was such a BEAUTIFUL view of the mountains, the pool was so relaxing and it was awesome to enjoy 24hr access to the pool and go night swimming. Just stayed here one night before flight out next morning. Seems pleasant, wish we could have enjoyed the pool. Had dinner and breakfast . Dinner was good, a little pricier than we found at most other restaurants in CR. Breakfast was included, few selections of some meats, scrambled eggs, fruit, toast and juices and coffee and teas.
