Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort

"This hotel was the perfect location. It’s right by the Queen Emma bridge and in a very walkable area with tons of restaurants and shops. The hotel itself was beautiful. Very well kept. The staff were friendly and courteous. My room was spacious and bright. I had a King ocean view. Plenty of lighting in the room and so many outlets which was convenient when it came to charging different things. I did not need an adapter coming from the US. There were also multiple places to charge using just a usb cord. My singular complaint about the room is the ac blows in your face while in bed because the vent is directly across and above where you lay your head. The real star of my stay was the housekeeper Angelique. She was such a sweetheart. I was greeted every day with a smile, a clean room and fresh towels! As someone who solo travelled for the 1st time it was nice to have such warm interactions with her. I looked forward to her towel animals and her sweet notes each day. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. She’s the best room stylist I ever had. I hope other people get to enjoy her kindness! I would definitely stay here again."

"Check-in was smooth, even at the late hour we arrived. The room was clean, with beutiful lighting. The buffet breakfast includes eggs, bacon, muffins, croissants, fruit, coffee, tea, juice, meat, veggie, and cheese area, with a few other pastries and cereals. We didn't have time to take advantage of the pool or other amenities, but I would happily return."

"We had the balcony view room overlooking the garden and ocean. Very quiet. One of the beach areas was mainly sand , more wavy the week we were there. The other beach you would need water shoes as it was more rocky but it was calmer waters, less busy but not as close to the pools. No issues getting beach chairs when we were there in October. There were 3 other restaurants within walking distance or very short car ride if you want to eat off the grounds but not too much else close by. Refrigerator was more for beverages so we brought a cooler and used the ice from the ice machines for some food we purchased from the Supermarché , about 10 minutes away by car. With our rental car we went for outings almost every day and visited 6 different beaches and Shete boka national park. The grounds were beautiful to come back to-we had a very relaxing stay."
