"We stayed in room 5 for 2 nights in May 2025. I have given it 5 stars for the view (the photos on expedia don't do it justice, i have attached some of the view from the room), it has a balcony plus location was great, 2 minutes walk to the restaurants on the front and walkable from the Old Souks area (though there are lots of golf carts as taxis). Room was clean and modern and breakfast at Rays exceptional. I would definitely stay there again but there are a couple of things to note: the parking charge was double that stated on Expedia. There is no kitchenette as stated, there is a (good sized) fridge and a kettle, no glasses or anything. Check in information was a bit confusing as you had to check in at Rays but when i asked initially the guy didn't seem to know anything but we got there in the end. But we had a great time and are definitely hoping to go back next time we are in Lebanon."

"Bad smell from sewage system in bathroom, reception uncontactable, no place to put your clothes, tips to get water, tea bags, cups, even the man in the gate when you pass by , if you don't no service at all and your holiday is ruined .NEVER AGAIN."

"My journey in Lebanon is truly a love story and this lovely family owned hotel is a big part of this magical experience. From the moment I walked in l was greeted by the kindest most loving Almurjan stars like Maya at the reception and Nicola the GM. ALL the other stars are also AMAZING! They’re truly wonderful in their communication and professionalism besides their kindness. The lobby is glorious the rooftop is so romantic especially now and the rooms have a view and are clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar are absolutely fantastic and it feels so good to sit outside in the garden . I highly recommend this lovely hotel to my friends and family thank you Almurjan Fam. Love you "
