Martina made us feel so special and helped us beyond duty. She even checked to see if we ca wrap our luggage at Walvis on our way back to SA. The breakfast matron and bar tenders were all very friendly and made us feel super welcome. Martina managed to give us a unit with a partial sea view which we thoroughly enjoyed. The best sunsets we from the rooftop terrace. From there we could see the staggered dunes lacing the town in the East up to the lulling ocean in the West. We were able to walk...
We stayed two nights in Swakopmund. Our two daughters (9 & 10) loved the two story configuration. The room decor was something akin to Scandanavian/African to me but I liked very much. Great staff (with a special shout out to Millicent for humoring our daughters). Very nice breakfast.
Rez guesthouse is very nice option in Walvis Bay if you’re planning activities for a day. The guesthouse is very well laid out and comfortable. Rooms efficient and well appointed. Staff extremely helpful and breakfast was varied, plentiful and good. Definitely recommend for short stays.
