The Stella Maris staff is the highlight of the facility. They immediately become family and treat you as such. The facility is very clean and very well kept. There are limitations that are to be expected as a part of visiting the country and area such as occasional area power outages (which are only a brief interruption till the generator comes on) and periodic brief Wifi disruption common for the area. The staff was just wonderful

As we drove down a dirt road to The Pink Flamingo, we wondered what we were getting into. As soon as we walked into the villa, we were smitten! It was gorgeous, beautiful, exquisite! The high ceilings, interesting African artifacts and photographs, stained glass windows, large bedrooms, pools and views were like a dream. We had been promised a driver to take us from the airport to the lodge, and he was there waiting in spite of the l-o-n-g entry process and the late hour. And, he is a very good driver, even where the roads were iffy. We were offered a late light supper, which was perfect. In the morning, the manager greeted us with "Come see the mountain. It's the first time in a month!" He led us to a huge deck jutting out over a gorge, and there in front of us was a crystal clear Kilimanjaro. Wow! ...

Kiboko Lodge is beautiful and quiet with a warm and welcoming staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is beyond accommodating and amazing. They were so kind and helpful and arranged a driver to take us into Arusha the next day. We booked this lodge very last minute and when we arrived at 11pm they had an entire feast ready for us. This is a fascinating property that was a pleasure to be in. Muksin and Catherine were great host. The room was excellent. There are some limitations if you have difficulty walking because of the nature of the steps. If you are fully mobile, it will be a wonderful experience.

Great customer service

We felt very welcome at Kaswende Farm. Family Kaswende was very hospitable, the farm is a beautiful place a few km away from the main road, between mount Meru and mount Kilimanjaro.

This was the perfect end to my trip to Africa before departing from JRO. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the property was beautiful.

Rivertrees was a lovely start to our exploration of Tanzania. It is located in Arusha less than a ten minute drive from the town and the National Park gate. Our first ever game drive was organized by the hotel and was very productive and exciting. They also organized transport for us from the airport and to our next property.
