If you have travel plans in this somewhat remote area of Italy you cannot do better than this hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet —friendly staff, some of whom speak very good English. I honestly can't get over of how amazing our stay is at Il Melograno. The room we stayed in has a great view of the coast. The room is extremely cozy. What a way to have a drink in your hand, sitting in your own balcony and admiring the great view in front of you. We stayed at this property for one night. The place was way beyond our expectations. It is located right in front of the Duoma and in the heart of the historic center. You can walk to beautiful restaurants, shopping centers, the port, the train station, and anything you can desire. The accommodations are clean, modern, and up to par with any boutique hotel in the area and around the world. It left nothing to be desired in regards to comfort. Absolutely perfect location if you are taking train or ferry to Positano! The B&B is an apartment in a larger building, so the owner met us outside on the street to make sure we find it. Deal with a nearby pastry shop to let us have breakfast there for no additional charge is a great touch!

Used this hotel twice now for family reunion. Great hotel and location, they have modernized it quite a bit. Gives the feel of being on the Amalfi Coast. Didn't care much for the restaurant meals, lots of nice places in town for food.

First of all the view from the property is scenic. The property is beautiful and clean with a nice size pool. The location is a little bit far from the center of the city but close to porto Manfredi for ferry connections.

Came to visit family nearby. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were spotless. To add icing to the cake (literally) there is a PHENOMENAL bakery attached to the building downstairs.

Extremely good lcatin ... 2 blocks from the train station & 2 blocks from the ferries to the Amalfi Coast .... hotel is on the Via Concordia which contains much of the social life along the bay.
