Excellent One night stopover whilst visiting for an event in the area , I arrived at 8 pm & ordered a very well kept local Ale , A Sirloin steak which was delicious washed down with an excellent merlot . The annexed accommodation was spacious and very comfortable with luxurious bedding , The ensuite bathroom was very well laid out with a huge shower that was excellent . Breakfast was delicious and was cooked by the charming owner.

I stayed with my daughter overnight for an early flight from Stansted Airport. What a lovely spot, on the farm. Room spotless, the breakfast room is so well equipped - everything you could want. The proprietress cooked chocolate croissants for us and they were waiting for us the next morning - we ate them at 5.30am, yummy. She also arranged a taxi to take us to the airport, only a couple of miles away, and I parked my rental car on the premises at a great price. A great find!!
