We only stayed one night at the Chateau, so we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to explore the grounds. The little that we were able to see was beautiful and such a needed break from the chaos of Paris. The hosts were helpful and very kind. The breakfast in the morning was delightful. If you have a car, Chez Bea is an excellent and relaxing B&B choice for visiting Granville. Beatrice is warm and welcoming and serves a delicious made to order breakfast. We gave the amenities 4 rather than 5 stars only because the bathroom and separate toilet are in a shared hallway. Otherwise, everything was well kept, and the large back garden is a lovely surprise should you desire given that the residence is tucked away in a suburban setting.

This is a wonderful castle that I highly recommend, 1000%! The attentions of its manager and receptionist, the marvelous room, the breakfast (note: it's not included in the price - Hotels.com provides misleading information). Everything there is elegant and cozy. It was a marvelous experience!

Fantastic hotel neat Mt St Michel. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. Food was great, including kids meal that was not the standard burger and chicken nuggets most places serve. We stayed in the family room which was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The best beds we slept in all vacation. The hotel is also very close (<2 min walk) to this beautiful path/hike that takes you to the beach. Would highly, highly recommend to any family.

My husband and I stayed at Villa les Dunes and used it as a home base to explore Mont St Michel, Fougères, and Dinan. Laurence, her mother and sister were so nice and welcoming. Our room had a beautiful view of the bay, which was a short five minutes away where we could walk out at low tide to see Mont St Michel. The property is quiet and peaceful and our room afforded a nice breeze with the balcony doors and side window open. Our stay was in September so temperatures were not oppressively...

Nice, clean, comfortable room, good check-in experience. The direct access to the ramparts was a big bonus. The only negative was a misleading email from the hotel regarding advance notice of arrival time which caused unnecessary stress.
