This is a great little residential hotel very close to the University. (Three blocks away.) The staff is friendly, the rooms are large and comfortable, the wireless is terrific and it is very convenient by bus or 20 minute walk to the center of town (old town). I strongly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. My two stays there have been a pleasure and memorable!
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit den Zimmern (401 und 414). Im Hotel herrscht eine gute Atmospfæhre und die Lage im Zentrum ist einzigartig gut. Das einchecken war schnell voellig problemlos. Das Fruehstuek ist sehr reichhaltig und alles essbares hat eine gute und schmackhafte Kvalitet. Es war auch erleichternd, das wir unser Auto beim Hotel parken konnten. The hotel was absolutely lovely and even with a late arrival they were very pleasant and helpful, even with my awful German language skills! The room was cozy and comfortable. I will also add they had one of the best breakfasts I've yet seen at any hotel. Very extensive with meats and cheeses and patries and all of them were fresh and not store bought. This is a typical German guest house. It is family run. The desk is only open until 8 pm but check in can be arranged later if you make arrangements. It is an older property that has not been updated. That being said, the WI-FI was great. I did not see an elevator. A BIG bonus is free on site parking. It is slightly outside of town but close enough to walk. If you want an affordable, comfortable stay in this wonderful town, I would recommend it.
