"Business Trip 1 night. This was a great hotel and location (just away from the city centre) . Room was spotless and comfortable - love the balcony and view across the water and the town.The main Boss chap (I think the manager or owner) was very polite and helpful, and his English was better than mine. The Hacienda Rodzio brazilian restaurant for the hotel was 'Excellent' - the rodzio menu is superb - all the meat cooked to perfection. If back in Lubeck will definately stay here again."

"Out in the countryside, Not many people! The spa was a sauna... Not much of spa for a Nordic person. Used to have massage but not any longer. Spa would be bath possibilities... great bar and restaurant. "

"We arrived at 5:15 and there wasn’t anyone to check us in. The property description said the reception would be staffed. We had the get a construction worker to call the number that was on the door. The property was under construction. It was very noisy when we arrived. The rooftop terrace was not finished. The rooms had very basic amenities. When we asked for soap to wash our hands in the bathroom, we were told there was no soap. Very unsanitary. In the pictures, coffee and tea packets were shown but none were in our room. There were no hangers in the closet, and no trash can in the bathroom. Also, please make a note that rooms do not have air conditioning. But even though the description says a no smoking premises, people were smoking near the door and the smell carried down the hallway. I would not stay here again."

"It is a quiet place, with parking and a bus that takes you straight into Lübeck. Staff was not so friendly. There was no on-location dining other than breakfast."
