"Staff - A young woman working at reception in the evening prepared tea and warm croissants for me knowing I wasn’t feeling well. May seem a small gesture but both the tea and the gesture made all the difference in how I felt."

"My room was very clean and housekeeping occurred at really convenient hours My brother needed extra time to sleep and I expected our room not to be cleaned as during one of our days we left the hotel room at 4pm and was pleasantly surprised to find the room cleaned when we returned Housekeeping was solid and they also opened the window every day which was nice The room was clean and had a modern look which I personally appreciated There was air conditioning which was nice The soundproofing in the room was good and we appreciated being assigned to a room in a corner on a relatively quiet floor as it allowed us to chat late into the night Criticisms: (Smallest to largest) -The hallway in front of the bathroom was a bit thin -The main entrance is closed after midnight and you have to circle to the north side to use a side entrance -Due to my brother and I being germaphobic We ran out of shampoo and body soap since understandable the bottles were only half full when we arrived Housekeeping solved this by the next day which we were thankful for -and on the last day at 8am a fire alarm went off, it seems this was a false alarm It was definitely a bit interruptive of our sleep I was overall very impressed 8.5/10 I would very much be willing to book this hotel again if the service remains at this standard"

"Staff: excellent! welcoming, friendly, helpful and at all times professional. Rooms (42 - double accessible & 219 -single): both very comfortable, spotlessly clean and proportionally spacious - the only slight negative was lack of soundproofing from adjacent rooms and plumbing - not overly loud or continuous but irritating at times. Restaurant & Bar: great breakfast and decent bar prices for a hotel - evening buffet was reasonably priced but less appetising...good selection however some hot dishes were out for too long and had started drying out. Location: out in the suburbs but U5 underground is 2 mins away and runs directly to the main Berlin railway station (Hauptbahnhof) via or close to all city centre prime sightseeing locations (Alexanderplatz, Unter Den Linden, Museum Insel, Brandenberg Gate/Reichstag etc ) Fifth time time we've stayed here....definitely will be back"

"Overall a really fantastic stay and can’t wait to return. When we arrived it was very difficult to establish where to check in as multiple check-in locations were closed. Eventually when we did check in, they will never check you in early - they even suggest you park your car at the lodge, which is strange as you can see your lodge available and ready to use but the key doesn’t work till 3pm. Then when it was 3pm we walked back to the lodge only from the hangar to find the key didn’t work so had to walk back to the desk (15 minute walk each way) whilst my wife had to feed our crying baby on the steps of the lodge. Other than that, it’s such a cool place and our lodge was lovely. The restaurant in the tiki bar, was absolutely fantastic and was way above our expectations. The wristband system for paying for everything is dangerously easy! As mentioned, we travelled with a baby and aside from the check-in process, it really was perfect as the water is a lovely temperature and no danger of being cold out of the water in tropical climate of the hangar. We had Amazonian lodge with a sauna and it was brilliant. As stated before it’s a 10-15 minute walk which is fine (as long as your key works..!)"
