The motel is quite interesting as it is inside of one of the famous Borsig Steam Engine Works dating back to 1898. Beautiful red brick construction! The halls and rooms of this manufacturing plant were nicely converted into rooms with all modern amenities. Everything was supplied, and the space was comfortable and clean. It is also very quiet. From the window you have a wonderful view of the grounds with outdoor seating, a playground, fitness equipment, a pingpong table, and grilling area....

We spent a week at the Kronprinz Hotel in Falkensee in September 2014, and were very pleased with the accommodations. The location was approximately 20-30 minutes from downtown Berlin by train, which was a 15 minute walk from the Hotel. Since we didn't want to drive in the downtown Berlin traffic, this worked out quite well.
