Only negative is lack of air conditioning or even a ceiling fan / any fan -- this made it challenging to sleep at night in late August; keep that in mind if you are coming from the US and used to lower sleeping temperatures. The perfect getaway in a quiet Italian village, away from all the noise of big cities! It was close enough to a small city to get what you needed but none of the traffic and noise. Staff was peasant, place was comfortable, and the 360 degree view of the surrounding area was breathtaking! Would recommend to anyone looking for a get way from the grind of daily life and loud, noisy cities!
Large room, clean and great condition. Breakfast was outstanding and plentiful. Dinner was available at the location and again, was excellent. Large property which allowed us to walk our pooches which were allowed at the property. Reception, staff, owners were fantastic and made you feel welcome. Great location.

In town visiting Barolo producers that we work with in the US. Il Grappolo was clean and comefortable and the view of Monforte from my room was amazing. Breakfast was good and the staff was helpful.
The ladies that run this place are absolutely lovely and so helpful. The room is bright and clean with a comfy bed. The property is right in the old town walking distance to attractions, shops, restaurants, even the train station is an easy walk, and their little cafe is lovely! Highly recommend!
Posizione ottima, staff gentilissimo e struttura molto carina. Camera molto basic e pulitissima con terazzino, ci hanno indicato istruzioni per check-in tramite whatsup un giorno prima e fornito culla richiesta. Colazione ottima con terrazzo con vista spettacolare. L'unica cosa dopo le 6 per una bottiglia d acqua o snack bisogna per forza prendere la macchina. Consiglio magari una macchinetta automatica o un frigo bar per il resto tutto perfetto.
