Borgo Monachella

Ragusa

This converted country farm was very quaint, and well furnished modern upgraded estate. Our hosts were very helpful in finding the perfect restaurant for dinner! There was a beautiful pool with amenities, lounge chairs, private bath rooms for each guest room, which was a very nice touch. European breakfast was very tasty with fresh baked items, meats, cheese, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, breads and cappuccino, espresso!

Villa Boscarino Boutique Hotel & Spa

Upper Ragusa (Ragusa Superiore)

We had a delightful one-night stay at Villa Boscarino. The hotel is created within a classic old villa with lovely modern features. Gardens and pool tranquil. It's atop a hill in the modern area of Ragusa, but a short cab ride over to the historical Ragusa area for dinner. Parking was available for our rental car. Staff was so helpful, caring and genuinely kind. Loved Stephanie at the poolside.

San Giorgio Palace Hotel

Ragusa Ibla

10/10 Exceptional

San Giorgio Palace has a spectacular location atop Ragusa. When you exit the hotel on floor 5, it's just a few flights of stairs up to the main square in Ragusa with all its sights, shops and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating at check in and departure. The breakfast was great. The only difficulty we encountered was not the hotel's doing but worth mentioning. Apple and Google maps both brought us the upper level of the hotel which required meticulous navigation on tiny streets to...

ChocoHouse

Upper Ragusa (Ragusa Superiore)

I really enjoyed staying here. Chocohouse is a hidden gem in Ragusa. When I arrived the owner greeted me, shook my hand and carried my large suitcase up the stairs to the check in desk and then up the stairs to my room. What a gentleman. The room looked like it was recently painted or updated. I loved it! I had a balcony with a table and 2 chairs and a great view! Wow! Another nice touch, the shower had chocolate soap that smelled great. Breakfast was a delight. A chocolate fountain with...

A winding, narrow road: welcome to Ragusa. Although the room was off a main road the small markings made us second guess whether we were actually there or not. We were greeted by a very nice lady who checks you in, puts out the breakfast, and cleans the rooms. Up a flight of narrow stairs was our room and one other. Up another flight of stairs is the top floor where there are two more rooms and a small breakfast area. We are a family of four adults. We try to always get a quad room. This was...

Modica Old Town Rooms

Modica Bassa

Spent 2 nights to visit this lovely hill town. The hotel is very centrally located, yet was very quiet (except for the occasional church bells). There are many restaurants, stores, gelaterias, and chocolate shops nearby. We arrived and left by train, and the train station is an easy 15-20 minute walk. Check-in & out were easy, and the staff was very friendly & helpful in directing us to local sites. The room was comfortable & clean, with the necessary amenities. The only issue would be if...
