We cannot recommend this hotel enough. The price was so worth it. The resort has a delicious restaurant, comfortable and luxurious accommodations, a lovely bar, relaxing pool area, and the most amazing Tuscan hills view. We can attest that the romantic sunset they promote is spot on. There is a quaint downtown a 10 minutes walk away as well. It was conveniently located to Florence and many other Tuscan locations. It was amazing to get an authentic Tuscan experience.
Beautiful property with large rooms, parlors, great staff, great restaurant, etc. We arrived late and the kitchen was closed, but they made one call and re-opened it for us and served an amazing meal with late night enthusiasm on a beautiful deck. The rooms were large, nice baths and very comfortable beds. This is a newly renovated and opened property cared for by a wonderful family. Everything has been taken care of down to the last detail. The food is delicious, the rooms are well appointed and till we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property and every interesting nook! There's lots to do including a ping pong table and a beautiful pool.

Super close to town, very walkable. The complementary wine tasting in town was excellent! A favorite night of our trip! The front desk even assisted with reservations, pool towels, drinks, and collecting our purchased wine for us!
We loved this place! Getting here was a bit tricky, as the map we were given in the welcome email was of bad quality, so it didn't take us to the correct place right away, but we figured it out, very minor. I'm sure you can ask for a better quality map. When we arrived to check in, we were greeted by Lisa, who was oh so very helpful! We loved this place and it was by far the best place we stayed during our time in Italy. The property is breathtaking and the service/staff is amazing. All the food we had was phenomenal and fresh. The wine is to die for. This is the type of place that is so good that you almost don’t want to tell people about it to keep it secret. Hope to be back again someday.
Limited transportation and the taxis were extremely expensive they will charge 165 euros one way for 30 minute drive. If you plan to go to Tuscany you need a car btw most cars are manual I don’t know how to drive it so I was stuck in the hotel for few days. To use public transportation you need to walk 39 minutes and is a lil dangerous because they don’t have side walk in the 15minutes from your trip.
We loved this hotel and San Gimignano in Tuscany. This is such a wonderful town and the only way to get around is to walk. The hotel wonderfully sited on a gentle hillside overlooking the Tuscan countryside and only about a 5-7 minute walk from town.
