I've been to 62 countries and this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was very comfortable, modern, and clean, and also quiet with great air conditioning. The location is also great, it's just 90-second walk from the main road with all of the colleges, shops, and restaurants.

Welcoming staff, convenient location. It was a really good place to stay, and convenient for the town centre. I parked the car and left it at the hotel until it was time to leave, two days later.

The service was so kind to accept a later checkout. Plus, the breakfast had flexible hours and was delicious. A perfect stay for those going to and from the airport. There are shurtles on the half and full hour for £4 each.

The Packhorse Inn was a very pleasant inn to stay at for my business trip! The room itself was well air conditioned and the amenities were very comfortable. Any extras needed such as ironing board, etc were readily available from the staff. Had breakfast and supper multiple evenings of my trip and always enjoyed them throughly. The room was just the right size, but the only thing I would suggest is putting a small tray or rack in the shower for room #3. There's no where to put shampoos/conditioners, etc. when using the shower.
Great people and very friendly. The English breakfast is huge, and extremely tasty. The bed was a little bit lumpy, and might need to be replaced soon, but I would stay with them again if I were to go to Royston again.
