This place blew us away!!! Beautiful house and the room (and view!) was stunning. The owners were so incredibly friendly and helpful. And holy cow, THE BREAKFAST!! Some of the best food we’ve had on this trip!! It was a very easy walk to town - we were there to see the Puffins on the Isle of May, and getting to the boat in the morning was very easy. The location is amazing, across from the water and the links. The bar and restaurant were great, good food and drinks, although a bit pricey. Love the welcome drink and tour. Didn't use the gym, but it looks very nice. We borrowed the bikes to ride around the beach and there was someone on hand to tune them up for us quickly. Our only issue was that our laundry seemed to get misplaced for a bit and we didn't get it within 24 hours. Otherwise it was seemless and super lovely.

For my "western" friends, this is a "small" place...as expected. Set that aside, because it is St. Andrews and that's what you get. This BnB style hotel and restaurant is the pinnacle of "big things come in small packages". An excellent staff, well-appointed rooms, breakfast, top-notch dinner, and you are 3 minutes walk from the 1st tee of the Old Course. It really doesn't get better than this. It's a golfer's dream. Absolutely recommend and will love to stay here again.
