The Inveraray Inn is on Front Street, facing the lake. They serve a gourmet fixed price meal in the dining room, but we opted for a less expensive, but still very good, meal in the bar. Ask for a room facing the lake. The view is great. My only disappointment was that no-one offered to carry our bags upstairs. As is quite common in Britain, there was no lift/elevator. Often, instead, a staff member is available at check-in to carry the bags, but that did not happen here, despite the fact that...

We were in Greenock to meet an old friend and have dinner while there. Our room at the Premier Inn was spacious and comfortable. The beds were nice and the shower was amazing. We had a very nice breakfast the next morning. We were only a couple of miles from where our friend lives so it was a very convenient location and was also very quiet. It was easy check in and check out after a lovely breakfast. The staff were also nice and helpful. We were happy we stayed there.
