Lovely country hotel sitting in the middle of the Wellington estate. Very friendly and helpful team.

The staff are excellent, they are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. This was our 2nd time here, highly recommend.

The staff were outstanding. The owners, Pat and Lyn, were the friendliest pub landlord and landlady in Britain. Ruby was a fantastic host and Andy was incredibly charming. The bar itself was beautifully constructed and thye home made Steak and Ale pie was the best meal I've ever had. The home made chili was next level perfection.

Big clean room, great comfy bed. Blackout blinds and quiet room ensured a great nights sleep. Full breakfast in the dining room or a light bite at the on premise Starbucks.

The hotel was great! Very nice place, nice rooms. Bathrooms were all updated despite the inn being 500 years old. Beds were comfortable, there was enough space for our family of 4 in the family room. Very neat old building with the huge old wood beams. Innkeepers were very welcoming. Inn itself was quiet, but we had a little noise from the street as our windows were open and they were right about the entrance to the pub downstairs, so we would hear conversations of those coming and going from...

This place is an absolute gem. It’s fabulous. You feel like you’ve been transported back to the time of Tudor England but with 21st century comfort. Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Incredibly helpful and gracious. Don’t pass up a chance to stay here.

Very nice room with typical english charm. Not sure about the shower stall in the bedroom with clear glass walls! Little things like a hook to hang a towel, or something to place a second suitcase on (rather than the floor) would be a good idea. Breakfast selection was great. Nice bar area for cocktails. We did not stay for dinner so cannot comment there. Staff very friendly and professional. Plenty of parking.

Very convenient location, right front of the station. Front is always staffed and provides sense of security especially at late hours. Interior has been renovated and look new, good amount of amenity. Bed was comfortable and shower ran smooth, and bathroom was big. Overall it was good value.

My partner and I stay here whenever passing through due to the gym and sauna. The rooms are all clean and comfortable, but amenities vary depending on what you book--when staying for business, we stay in a nicer room which has a mini fridge with drinks, shampoo, conditioner, soap, bathrobes etc. When just passing through, we book a basic room which has a shampoo/soap combo, no shampoo, no mini fridge and no bathrobes.
