We did a 'tour of Canada' by car. We stayed in Saguenay for 3 nights, Charlevoix for 1, Quebec City for 2, Montreal for 2 and Kingston for 1. This hotel was one that the kids will remember for years to come. It was incredibly unique and the view was spectacular. Hot tub was a bonus and had all of the 'creature comforts' that you could hope for. The loft bed was a highlight as it provided stunning unencumbered views down the mountain. Just simply beautiful.

A very friendly and comfortable stay. Great hospitality and excellent tips on activities and places to eat. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious. Would go back in a heartbeat and will be recommending to friends and family.

What a wonderful place to stay! The owners, Kerri and Philippe, were absolutely fantastic—so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. They also offer some great amenities, including early check-in and laundry facilities. But what really stood out to me were all the little touches, like complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, that made the stay feel extra special.
You simply can't beat the location, but somehow the service...

An incredibly unique stay that I will be telling anyone who will listen to go see for themselves. We loved walking around the farm and visiting the highland cows on property, walking to the public beach front, the Nordic spa, the wine vending machine, as well as the restaurants on site. Would absolutely recommend.

We stayed here for 1 night because we wanted to see the whale watching the next day. Perfect location. It was only 1 hour from the hotel to the whale watching site. Easy nice drive.
The hotel is well-kept and the staff was friendly and great. The room was clean and the area is quiet and safe. We slept well.
We also had a dinner reservation at Chez Truchon. Very famous restaurant in the Michelin guide. It is 1 minute walk from our hotel room, basically next door. Great service and food....

We stayed in a two bedroom cabin that was new, clean, spacious, and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the view of the river and how calm and peaceful it was. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a comfortable, very quiet 3rd floor room with a view of the St. Lawrence River. I was in room 302 and I found it to be spacious with plenty of cabinet space. I particularly appreciated the carpeted flooring as I could do my yoga. Staff fabulous. I didn’t eat at restaurant, but they were busy. There is no elevator, but this was not an issue for me since I only stayed one night and not a lot to carry but staff was available to assist.

Everything about our stay here was delightful. The rooms, the staff, the breakfasts, the location, and, most importantly, the view looking out to the St. Lawrence river was all we could want. I highly recommend this auberge and hope we can return sometime.

My stay (3 nights) at Auberge was very charming. The owners and staff were so friendly. My view of the frozen St. Lawrence was spectacular, where the beautiful church across the street was also a sight to see as the sun rose each morning. Each breakfast was delicious, as were the two dinners I had. I highly recommend the Auberge Le Four A Pain. Jonathan White (Maryland, USA).

Beautiful hotel and clean rooms, great staff. The AC was a bit weak and the hallway was very humid. Having no elevator makes it more difficult for those with disabilities or lots of luggage. I would stay here again.
