I was expecting "white sand beaches and clear warm waters" as seen in the ads so I paid the price for a "Beach Front Room' only to find out that there is no white sand beach - only mud and muddy waters! We found out later that the islands with beautiful white beaches, clear waters and lagoons can only be reached by boat at a very pricey cost - $120-150 per person depending on your island destination. This place is an absolute gem! Everything is so beautifully designed and well laid out with stunning views over the infinity pool and the islands beyond. Mel was a fantastic host who took care of so many of our different changing needs. She helped organize a private boat tour that took us to some of the most magical places in the area.I would highly recommend this place to any and all travelers who wishes to see the magic of Coron & Busuanga.

This is a great resort with great views- easily a place you can stay at for days. The villas are scattered and very private, and the vegetation is thick and lush- plenty of flowers. The staff is very friendly, professional, and attentive and will go out of their way to make sure you're happy. I forgot my shoes after a boating trip, but couldn't remember if I had left it at the bus terminal or on the bus itself. Our customer service experience was stellar here! There seemed to be a miscommunication when checking in where we were given one room with a triple bed, instead of the two doubles I paid for. The front desk ended up upgrading to a even larger suite free of charge, that had a little bit more separation. Even helped us get an impromptu shuttle the following day to the airport after a flight change. So grateful for this team and their help!

Room was clean and updated. AC worked phenomenally, the breakfast was great with fruit, egg station, pastries, juices, hot station, pancakes, and desserts. The pool was fantastic. They even had a pool side bar that was by one get one for happy hour, which we took full advantage of. You really don’t even have to leave the resort there is a restaurant , cafe and small grocery store right on the property!

I have to start off by saying that staying at Paolyn Houseboat was a leap of faith for myself, my wife, and our 3 children. To be isolated in a lagoon next to an island with no degree of infrastructure, caused us some level of uncertainty. BUT OMG, HOW WRONG WE WERE! Staying here offers absolute peace, serenity, and tranquility that could only be described as lifechanging.
