Our stay at Bacau Bay was wonderful! The property was beautiful with great facilities and the staff were so nice and helpful. We spent an entire afternoon relaxing in their beautiful pool and ordering poolside food and drinks. It’s also a short tuktuk ride into town, which the hotel staff were easily able to help call for us. We only stayed one night but could have easily spent many more there.

I was expecting "white sand beaches and clear warm waters" as seen in the ads so I paid the price for a "Beach Front Room' only to find out that there is no white sand beach - only mud and muddy waters! We found out later that the islands with beautiful white beaches, clear waters and lagoons can only be reached by boat at a very pricey cost - $120-150 per person depending on your island destination.
