We had a great stay overall. The check-in was the easiest and quickest we have experienced in quite some time. There was free coffee / tea available by the reception all day, a very nice touch in the cold. The sauna in the central building is spacious and convenient. Incredible view of Alta from the 6th floor. Clean & quiet. Heated floors in bathroom. Very helpful staff! Superior breakfast! Conditions were icy, so wonderful that Peppe's Pizza was next door (delicious), and the 3-story mall could be accessed without going outside. Breakfast would have cost at least $40 each in a nice American hotel. Walking distance to Northern Lights Cathedral and top restaurants in area. Wise decision to stay here!

Great place, super clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is a little pricey but at the same time great options and good products. The bed was very comfy and not single beds, which seems hard to find. The sauna was also great, only bummer was the windows of the sauna were really dirty from people jumping and splashing the windows. So the view from the sauna wasn’t as we thought. A delightfully charming property with easy parking just a 10 min drive from the Colorlines ferry check-in. Our ferry left early, and that was no problem for check-out. We had a fantastic dinner at the Indian restaurant 5 minutes away - so that was an added bonus!

The location was very good which overlooked the harbor and close to everything.

We basically stayed in a small one bedroom apartment. Saved good money being able to cook. I skied the Norwegian Birken and start in Rena was only 1;15 away. Very friendly staff

The property and area are very nice; we had an overnight stay and were very happy with the accommodation, amenities, staff and food. Breakfast was excellent. I would give them 6/5 if I could.

It was a lovely place, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the food at the restaurant was really good. I would have stayed longer if I had more time this trip.

This is a special place on earth, and Maria is a wonderful hostess and owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. She prepares farm-to-table fare that is delicious. However, we were visiting in March, and at that time of the year the options for a vegetarian is rather limited. Other than that, which is certainly understandable, this was a great place to relax, unwind, snowshoe, and ski (rentals in Tromso).

Excellent apartment in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of downtown and several commercial districts as well as the phenomenal Frogner Park. I would highly recommend staying here.

Gorgeous resort, even in the summer. Delicious restaurant, comfy room, and just beautiful.
