It's feeding time at the zoo! If you want to be reminded of some of the great animals our world is home to, you might want to pay a trip to Kristiansand Zoo, located 6.1 mi (9.9 km) from central Kristiansand. If you'd also like to explore some of the parks in Kristiansand, head to Myren Gard og Park and S.N. Hansen's Park.
"Dinner menu had several dishes we wanted to try, but decided on splitting an entree and dessert. Great buffet breakfast in the morning with excellent choices."
"The room was clean but small, shower has half glass partition which allows water to go everywhere. Bed was comfortable but could have used better pillows."
"Would have been 5* were it not for check in issue when I self checked in with QR code sent by hotel / coded room cards only to find it let me into an occupied room - not great for safety or security! Staff were pleasant but I would have expected such an issue to be taken with more concern.
The hotel was fantasticly situated from airport a mere 200 meters from main exit but still managing to feel relaxed and not in a busy location. Decor very modern and stylish and very well maintained and clean. While simple the room was well designed (benefit of relatively new build) and comfortable with the key things of good shower / plenty hot water / drinkable cold water / good quality bed. Breakfast had a very reasonable selection given that Hotel staff strike was current and information had said breakfast would be limited.
Would definitely use again BUT someone needs to sort IT glitch so no one's suffers a stranger walking in on them or worse"
"Great room and location.
Most of the staff was nice and helpful. Except for the girl on our arrival, impolite when we asked about parking outside and when we asked about storing our luggage she just pointed at the room but didn't explain how to open the door or that we had to pay for it. She saw us struggling to open the door, that's right in front of her desk, and didn't explain anything until we asked how to. Then she just replied with telling us to scan a QR. When we get into the website we saw we had to pay 39 nok for each bag. First of all, her assistance was terrible. And secondly, we were paying for a private room, you would think luggage storage is included as a service.
Everything else was really great!
The room was very comfortable and clean. Although they were under renovation the noise wasn't too loud. It is pretty convenient to have the supermarket right next to the hotel and both buses and trams are a short walk away. I would stay again!"
