"We stayed in two studio lakeview apartments. The first one (109) had great views, but kitchen facilities could do with an upgrade (had to ask for a plate and the frypan was poor quality). The second one (409) seemed larger and was better equipped. Enjoyed having a washer and dryer. Buffet breakfast in hotel was expensive for what it was - again could do with an upgrade. "
"Paper thin walls, bring ear plugs!
Had a 2 night stay at this hotel in the Studio's section. The hotel is new, so condition of the property is good, albeit car parking is very limited. There is also a restaurant on site which is handy.
However, the first night we were woken up at 2.30am by a large group of people returning to the hotel room next to ours and had a party. The walls are so thin we could hear every word that was being said and it was loud enough to wake up (and keep up!) the kids. We tried to call the out of office number from their website, this number was no longer active. After about an hour, we eventually found a different number, and in all fairness they came out to have a word with the guests. The extra guests did leave, but the people staying continued their party until 6am. It was that loud none of us were able to get back to sleep.
The next day our room did not get serviced, despite their website saying housekeeping happens daily. Not great, but didn't bother us too much as we were only there for the two nights.
We decided to get a takeaway that night as the kids were too tired to go out, and all the plates and cutlery were filthy and not washed from the previous time they were used. Unfortunately the next night the room the other side of us got in at 12.30 and the noise woke us up again. TBF they were just talking normally this time until 2am, but the walls were so thin, everything could be heard so loudly. Wouldn't recommend this hotel"
"Lovely place and staff are friendly. When I got to my room the towels and toilet paper, and complimentary water hadn’t been replaced so I had to call to request some. Also my trip was over Easter and I was there to relax and get some good quality rest and a sleep in that I don’t get at home but had housekeeping knocking at the door at 8am, which was quite early. Overall a lovely stay but just the little things, that do matter when you pay a lot for a room over a few days. "
