Cheap Hotels in Myanmar

I had a 22 day stay while visiting around Yangon. The best part about this hotel was the staff. Everyone that worked there was friendly and kind. That fact alone makes this a great place to stay. This was a 5 star stay at budget friendly prices.

So exceptional is The Excelsior - so absolutely perfect in every detail - that it'll amaze you - without any exceptions. Its gorgeously fitted out; the staff and extremely gracious and it has abundant unique features that make a stay so memorable. For breakfast, the Newsroom Cafe serves utterly delightful a la carte fare - in a gorgeous environment and with exceptional staff. It's perfect.

Not too many options in Bago, this is overpriced in my opinion but pretty nice. The breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful and kind. Better to save money and stay elsewhere though.

If water pressure was little strong, it will be perfect!

It was well located but there are renovations going on. In fact, the room did not have a curtain but the staff added one.

For the price range, absolutely no complaints. Staff was friendly, the hotel grounds are quite pretty, room was large and comfortable, location was great in the center of town. The only note, if you arrive super early on the night bus they do charge a (small) early check-in fee. Overall great stay.

My hotel room was surprisingly spacious and modern with key amenities, beautiful bathroom, mini-fridge, a huge bed and great air-con (outdoor temperatures were 95-100 degrees Fahrenheit). Wi-fi worked well. Rooftop restaurant was lovely, but no shade. Staff was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. If you're staying in New Bagan, I'd recommend this hotel. Two small caveats: the bike I rented from them was terrible. If I had realized I was paying for the rental (a small fee).I would have rented...

We have stayed at this hotel three times and always look forward to returning. The location is excellent just at the edge of New Bagan. It is a perfect hotel to return to after a long day of sightseeing the temples because it is quiet restful and has a beautiful pool. The staff and the manager are excellent very caring and always willing to help. The rooms are exceptionally large very clean and comfortable . We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again.

GOOD hotel not great but good and value for money. Stairs no elevator and others similarly priced are around that look a bit newer.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. Possibility to rent ebikes for a cheap price (check the battery first before going though, we had a bad surprise after one hour !). Breakfast buffet is nice and they have a restaurant which serves good food (lunch & dinner) but a little expensive compare to what we can find in the downtown. The room they gave us was great even if dusty at our arrival and housekeeping didn't include the ground floor. They allowed us to stay in the lobby to wait for the night...

The Hotel is quite new, so everything is working fine. There´s a manager responsible all the time, very polite. Friendly staff… Good ratio quality/price.
