A well-maintained property with clean rooms, great pool and a very nice beach, with helpful staff that are happy to set up sun beds with towels and shade. There is drink service at the beach although a bit slow. However, there is cold drinking water available via self-serve all the time. One important tip - the beach is divided into three by barrier rocks. Of the three sections, the one furthest away from the towel cabana has best ocean floor - with almost no rocks. This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t think of one thing they could improve upon. The grounds are stunning and the decor is spot on. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. And the hotel offers all sorts of complementary amenities such as tea time, boating and snorkeling. As well there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staying here is a must!

The property was more than I expected for the price I paid. Mark the owner is a very friendly and accommodating individual. Communication was extraordinary, he made sure that taxi service was available throughout my trip. George who was my driver was very kind, he went above and beyond to make sure my stay was memorable. We stayed 3 nights on our first trip to Barbados. The hotel is lovely and the room was very comfortable. The staff was amazing - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer, but we booked at the last minute and they were completely booked. The food in the restaurant was very good as well. We will be back someday!

A wonderful old, colonial era hotel right on the water. Tons of history, amazing service, and a great restaurant right on site. Excellent getaway if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, without many distractions.

This resort made our trip. We stayed for a week in late September 2015 to celebrate a major birthday. If you are trying to decide between the Marriott properties- this is definitely the best (more to open soon though). The beach is beautiful and there is great snorkeling if you follow the rope on the left side over the reef. We stayed in a split ocean view - incredible view. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this really cute apartment. Our apartment was #15, and it became our little home. The air conditioning and fan were welcome as the mornings in B'dos became warm quite quickly. The staff was very helpful and resolved our TV issues within minutes. Mrs. Brown is a sweetheart and made us feel very welcomed. The apartments are within minutes to a main road with restaurants, banks, super markets, and the beach and board walk.

The general experience was quite good, the hotel menu selection was ok. and service quite good. The public transportation was quite easy and accessible. . However,there was a misunderstanding on the package booked. Although my party consists of (4) four person, however, the breakfast was only available to (1) one person. This was not made clear when the booking was made. we discovered this the day we checked in.. This was very dissappointing ..

Great location, always clean and safe, pleasant staff, great beach, walking distance to everything you need. The BEST restaurant in Barbados is a few steps away, CHAMPERS! My family and myself are regulars here. The on site restaurant is very good too.

Beautiful property in a gorgeous location. Loved everything about it - lovely room, excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. Location is a bit isolated but the amenities more than compensate and great for a relaxing vacation!

We booked reservation in Island Inn because the Amaryllis Beach Resort closed. It was our first all 'inclusive experience' and we were very pleased by the variety and quality of the meals provided. The owner of the Inn was a most gracious host and the staff one and all were a delight.
