"There is one restaurant on the property so I recommend exploring outside. Staff give good recommendations for that. Beach was overrun with seaweed. That was the only disappointing part."
"The room was not very clean, the furniture had stains all over, the white comforter was off white. All the furniture was sticky in the room which made our skin very itchy. They start the introduction to the property trying to sell you a time share promotion, the resort is huge but hard to find things"
"The view was amazing, staff were friendly and hotel is located in a lovely area where night life takes over, because of its prime location it makes all other spots easy accessible."
"The room was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, bed was very comfy, though the room was a little bit older. I had a king bed and a twin bed as well as microwave, sink, oven, fridge, toaster, etc... everything in working order. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low but we were on the top floor and it was sufficient.
If you hope to take the bus around the island, the closest stop is about a 7-minute walk from the hotel. (Each time you jump on the bus it is $3.50 BB) It's a 15-minute ride to Carlisle Bay, unless traffic is congested in the mornings. The taxi from the airport to the hotel was about $30 us.
The pool was clean and a nice quiet place to lay down in a sun chair. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the ocean, But we did our beach time over at Carlisle Bay.
Some people may feel a little uncomfortable walking through some of the neighborhoods that are nearby, but I tend to be a wanderer and probably walked through more of the areas than a typical tourist. When you're a tourist, it's always good to walk around with a friend anyway. Everyone was friendly.
Overall, this is not a four-star hotel. It really is a three-star hotel but the overall experience with the staff and the room amenities for the price gave this a four for me. And it worked great for me as a hub to jump on tours of the island etc. if I just wanted to hang out at the beach I would probably get a place closer to Carlisle Bay."
"Reception was terrible they never explained anything about the resort tell us about our VIP check in and the perks. Concierge Chantal was amazing! The other staff were amazing except one at The Village Coffee shop didn’t let me have 1/2 of one flavor and 1/2 of the other flavor was rude.. The bed was like a rock and pillows horrible they needed to upgraded and get new mattress and pillows.. The food at the resort was super expensive ridiculous as was the coffee and the Village Cafe… It was worse than being in Paris or Monaco… We won’t be back too expensive of an island.."
