Beach Hotels in Bahamas

"The view from our room was amazing. We purchased water view and the view was beautiful (ocen wing building, 6th floor, room 6322. The room is basic but clean and remodeled. I liked that there are hardwood floors instead of carpet. The only problem (not property fault) was that after 2 nights a loud group of guys checked in above our room. I understand that people come to party but this was a vandalism not a party. Luckily security guards addressed the situation but next nights they were loud too but not as bad as the first. Coral is affordable so maybe more young people book it to party. If it wasn’t for that, I definitely recommend the Coral. "

"Harborside: Overall, the stay and staff at Harborside was great. Property and room was clean and great for families. Bellman was great(prompt and helpful with getting us a taxi). Restaurants: We went to Claudio’s, Carmines(large portions), Fish(very small portions) and Nobu restaurants. Nobu’s food and service was excellent. The other places were good overall. Service: Over a 6 night stay we only ran into 2-3 staff members at the Cove and waterpark that were rude, however Bahamas have some of the nicest people which was a breath of fresh air when you’re on vacation. I wish they would put signs up for exclusive/blocked off areas(not referring to Cove beach) and be a bit nicer about redirecting guests if you don’t have a key card for those areas. At the Cove one guard was rude as though folks were trying to trespass when a simple information sharing would have gone a long way. Note, your Atlantis waterpark pass does not allow you to get into the Cove private beach area. I did not know this upon booking and this may have impacted where my hubby and I chose to stay. Transportation: The busses around the island was surprisingly a great experience. They came relatively quick and the drivers were very friendly."

"Room was clean but needs updates. Some staff were very friendly, others didn't look happy to be there. Resort is supposed to be adults only but there were 2-3 groups of high school athletes there for part of our stay that overtook the resort. Pickleball courts and tennis courts were ungroomed and full of sand or leaves/sticks/etc. We didn't see any kayaks or paddle boards available for guests to use. The Entertainment Crew was the best and got guests involved in games and music!"

"BAD: Our first full day we had jack hammering/construction beside and one floor down from our room. We could not enjoy our room from 8 to 5 because of the noise. Upon complaint, they were in no hurry to compensate. We had to speak to them 4 times and finally got a $100 credit at the end of the stay. NOTE: If you get breakfast included, make sure they take it off your bill at the end. They handed me a bill and then said "oh yes, I will take that off right now." It felt really shady. GOOD: The cleaning staff did a GREAT job in the rooms. The aquarium was wonderful."

"This resort is a small more relaxed all inclusive resort. The staff was all so amazing (in fact all Bahamians that we encountered were friendly beautiful people). The beach was man made but has a beautiful walking pier with boulders under it so wakes would not make the beach choppy. The food was delicious and the fact that it is all adult made it wonderful. It had bicycles and fishing poles and bait and shuttle to a big beach a2 blocks away was great. Although you could easily walk to that beach. It was such a relaxing trip. We hope to be back soon.
