Reserve una habitacion de lujo, disque con vista a la Bahia y de no fumadores. Al instalarme en la habitation, me sentí como si hubiese llegado a un hospital, me dieron una habitación para personas desabilitadas y además para Fumadores y la nevera no funciono, y por las ventanas no pude ver nada, las ventanas estan selladas con plastico.

ME GUSTO MUCHO EL HOTEL. DESDE EL PRIMER MOMENTO EL PERSONAL ERA MUY ATENTO . TENIA COMIDA, PISCINA, JUEGOS,ETC. COMO PASAR TODO EL DIA ALLI, SIN TENER QUE SALIR DEL HOTEL.

Es un hotelazo tiene todo lo que se desea para pasarla bien en pareja o en familia

Un hotel de maravilla tiene de todo alli mismo no necesitas salir de alli a ningun lado me encanto

Precio economico, bien ubicado y mucho lujo. Lo unico que critico es que no sabes bien donde estacionar, donde ir etc...

Our room at 1030pm was not ready and I asked if they could give us a free drink at the bar. They said no. They told us 3 times we would have a king bed room. When we finally got our room it was a queen and the bathroom was dirty. I called the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do. I asked if we could get any compensation for the issue. […] they said no. When I told the front desk in the morning about the problems they said sorry. Due to construction they could not offer any compensation. They tried to blame Hotels.com. I called Hotels.com and they were very understanding and provided compensation. Unbelievable that the hotel would not step up. The agent at Hotels.com was wonderful! We appreciate their effort to make our trip better. I will always book on Hotels.com. Leer más

overall stay was pleasant staff was very accomadating .lookn forward to great service in the future would recommend and revisit.

The hotel was NICE but I could hear the conversation in the adjoining room the walls were so paper thin - Forget good sleep !

The hotel was very nice. My room was on the 20th floor with a spectacular view of the marina. Very classy place. The bed was so comfy that i wish i could take it home. this was my 2nd time here. stayed 1 night everything was great!

My wife and I had a renovated room on the 22 nd floor. They did a great job of renovating the rooms and I have no complaints about the room itself. However, the pillows still have a slight hint of smoke. You think that with all the money they are investing that they would have the good sense to purchase new illows. very clean and comfortable room. Location is very good,within ten minutes of the boardwalk. The remodling and construction was a little bit much but once done it will be a beautiful hotel

I planned a trip and booked here with a great deal. The room was really great and the service was also great! Even with the renovations going on, barely even noticed! I would definitley recommend!

Even under renovation the Hotel was very nice and accommodating , the Chart House was very nice also, I can't wait to return...

I will make this review short and sweet: In terms of cleanliness and friendliness of staff the hotel was excellent. There were certainly some kinks in the system in terms of booking rooms from Hotels.com - however, it worked in our favor. I booked and paid for two rooms and they ended up giving us three rooms by accident (no complaints on my part for […] that). While there was construction going on at the hotel it did not affect the stay at all. There was no loud early-morning construction. Additionally, the maids (most likely intentionally) leave some of the brand new rooms open for you to check out. If that is what all of the rooms will eventually look like, then this hotel will be pretty nice. Of course our rooms were all in the old style, but nothing to complain about. The bars at the hotel were decent but we did not end up trying any of the restaurants. Overall, for my next trip to AC I would probably look to stay at Golden Nugget first. Leer más

Our room smelled like stale smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room.

Good for the price but my room didn't get clean the next day idk if it's cause we got up late but the lady said she was and never did but overall it was good

The hotel was pretty good. Obviously as a combination hotel/casino the prices were a little lofty. It worked out alright because my lady won some money. The bed was very comfortable. I must say I would probably buy one of those beds in the event that I am ever able to afford it. It was a good night overall and I would say that I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Atlantic City and wants a reasonable rate for a good hotel. The only thing is they are currently undergoing some reconstruction and it's a bit unclean around the lobby areas. We have stayed her numerous time. It is undergoing extensive remodeling, so you have to keep that in mind, but rooms are still very nice and staff is always very nice. We take Jitney to main part of AC. Save lots of money by staying here.

The hotel is going through a complete remodel, so when I arrived the bar and lounge was right next to the check-in and it was extremely hard to hear the person checking me in. I had a bell-hop bring up my bags and when he opened the room, I was amazed from what it used to look like..it was beautiful. The only thing is that they out a couch in the room […] with a lounge at one end and you could not sit in it and watch TV, since the TV was mounted on the wall and directed to the bed. They should have put the TV elsewhere so you can sit on the lounge part of the couch to watch TV. The lounge by the check-in is there only temporarily until the new lounge is finished being remodeled. They did build a nice wine and wifi room, which is wonderful to use your own computer or one of the 2 they have there for quests. There are cord outlets all over the room so wherever you sit you can plug in. There is also wine, coffee for you to purchase but when I was in there there wasn't anyone to get me the wine, they closed at 8pm, which is way too early. Several other parties came in and wanted to purchase wine, there is a dispenser there for both wine and coffee and so they should make it useable for anyone to purchase from and they wouldn't need anyone in there to get it for us. I would love to tell you how my stay was at the golden nugget but I didn't get to stay there. Despite booking and paying for my room months in advance, the hotel did not honor my reservation and gave out the room along with about twenty others. The rude staff told us we could be added to the waiting list for a room to become available (when people check […] out in the morning) or go to another hotel about twenty minutes away across Atlantic city. They were unprofessional and unappologetic. They turned away several guests and implied that it was our fault for checking in after 4pm. We chose to drive to the other hotel instead of just going home because the front desk representative, Michael, was vague about the hotel refund policy. If we did not have a car we would have been stuck sleeping in the lobby. The renovations they are doing on the outside of the hotel will not improve the poor quality and service of the staff and their procedures. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and have a had a great experience each time. My only complaint is the youngsters that are allowed to book a room. They were a little bit loud but security handled the situation very quickly.

I stayed at the Golden Nugget because the nightly rate was very low. Biggest issue is they start construction at 7am, so if your a late sleeper, your screwed. The hotel is doing major renovation and trying to stay open, they are pulling it off but just know things are bit of a mess. Nothing but perfection with my stay at GN. Victoria at the front desk was more than welcoming, even upgraded our room no extra cost. Room service was quick and pleasent and only 5$ self park! Will def stay again!!

Undergoing repair at the time I was there, but the new rooms are fantastic. The cleaning staff woke me up early, though. Not cool.

They were doing construction while I was there. The casino area was small -it was regular looking nothing fancy. The lounge was nice, buffet and restaurant were okay. The room we got was not remodeled and was absolutely filthy. There was a thick coating of dust on everything, a hole in the ceiling above the shower head and a few white stains on the curtains. I wouldn't have called it an upgrade since that is the type of room we thought we were getting in the first place. Hotels.com does not make it very clear that when you confirm a king size bed on a non-smoking floor with a marina view that those things are requests, not a guarantee. Needless to say I will never return to either the Golden Nugget or Hotels.com. I have done much better researching hotels online and calling the manager directly. Thehotel is under renovation so a lot of escalators and sitting areas were closed off. However we had a newly renovated room. Small but very nice.

We got our room at 9:00 pm becasuse there was no more rooms. We waited since 5:00 pm. Alot of people including us had to wait for hours just to get our room. They only told us "Sorry".

This was a birthday gift from my fiancé and after working seven days a week two jobs it was somethings that I was greatly looking forward to. When we arrived there we was told that the hotel was sold out and that they had to find a room for us even though the room was paid for a month in advance. We had to wait two hours just to get assigned a room. […] It started my birthday getaway on a sour note. the other problem that I had is when we placed the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, the maid service would still enter the room anyway disturbing my time with my fiancé. The hotel is under construction. The pics you see are the renovated rooms in which you will have to pay extra for once you arrive to the hotel. We stayed during New Years Eve and the renovated rooms were only available to the VIP members this weekend leaving us in an old room with stained carpet and drapes.. old shower.. mis match furniture .. dirty […] lamp shades... the room was uncomfortable.. old.. and did not look nor feel clean. The hotel stay was enjoyable. I thought the set-up of the shower with a half glass door not to be ideal, since the water squirts out of the shower enclosure. Overall it was a good experience.

I know the place is renovating and I know I had a very low rate for a room but,seriously, a slow weekend and the best they did was give me the second worst room i ever had. There was nothing open under contraction no help no were they don't till you anything it sucks Now it will be nice soon BUT till then stay away

We stayed here for two nights and three days. Most hotels have a toiletry kit if you forgot toothpaste or toothbrush. This hotel did not have any free toothpaste and staff was not generally accomodating. The location was the not the best. The rooms were clean.

We were in AC for two days around Xmas, so there was not any construction noise as written in previous reviews but the place still was being worked on. The casino is nice but small, the poker room had just opened up and they could only get one table going. We stayed in a room that had not been updated and it was fairly clean. The beds were decent. The […] walls are very thin, We could hear the couple talking in the room next to us. Even after they had a romp in the bed. This is most likely not the place I would go again if I were taking my GF but if I was with one of the guys just here to gamble and crash it would not be bad. The price was great but I do not know if it will stay low once the renovations are done. It would be better to stay at a hotel closer to the boardwalk if you are looking for more to do than gamble. The rooms are nice but the hotel is really old. Do not expect anything fancy. Maybe after they finish the construction things will change.

I would not suggest any one to stay in this hotel. This is my first trip to Atlantic City and i was so excited. But when i check in into the hotel, it was so dirty and even if you go to the rest rooms they are not clean. I strictly entering into this hotel next time.

Even though they are updating, their staff was very pleasent. Food was good and room service was great as well. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a new bed (king bedroom).
