This hotel and spa is totally amazing!! Very clean, very updated, delicious food, fantastic spa services, and above all extremly friendly personnel. Located perfectly by shopping malls, and major highways for quick trips into the city, yet serene enough to relax without being bored. The staff was extremly friendly (especially Louis and Devon) and both dinner and breakfast were simply delicious. The rooms were clean and simply fine.

Loved it, beautiful.

I have stayed at some very nice hotels and this one tops them all. The staff was VERY friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. This is the 2nd time I have stayed there and would highly reccomend this hotel.

I loved it!!!! I stayed for one weekend, loved every minute.... I didn't want to leave. The staff are so nice, friendly, and helpful. The room was beautiful... just everything was great.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff and clean rooms. My only complaint is that they placed me next to the elevators and rowdy guests woke me up at 1:30 am before a big day. They were very helpful when it came to checking out early.

the Hotel was actually nice, but I was looking forward to using the Spa, which is so widely advertised. Unfortunately, the Spa closes at 7pm and opens at 10am. We arrived at 6pm, got dinner and then, no spa. The Hotel Restaurant, on the other hand, was a disaster. The Chef was missing that day, and there was a cook, no older than 21 y.o. who kept sending […] us uncooked chicken (we sent it back a couple of times), and served my friend spoiled shrimp. It was not a good experience, considering that we expected the quality of the food to be at least at the Hotel quality. We ended up not having much to eat, and were too tired to go out afterwards. Besides, there were only cheap food establishments around us...Didn't dare to try them. With a late evening arrival to JFK, and a business meeting near the hotel the following morning, this was the ideal location for me. Personable welcome, and the hotel delivered exactly to plan. Definitely would need a car to get around the area.

It is a very relaxing hotel. Clean and comfortable with beautiful furniture and linen

Stayed one night. We got in fairly late in the day, after a long drive, hoping to use the hot tub and then hang out in our room in some bathrobes. Our first stop on arriving at the room was to use the bathroom, in which we found a small cockroach. Since we were told the spa would be closing soon, we quickly grabbed our stuff and went down to the hot […] tub. The water in it was cold and never really got above lukewarm even after we had turned it on for a while. Worse, the tub itself was completely filthy, which we noticed once we got in. After quickly rinsing off the filth in the shower in the spa area (which is basically just a tiny pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna next to a small exercise room), we returned to our room and discovered that there was only 1 bathrobe. We called the desk and were told that the bathrobes are "controlled items" which there is a limited supply of and therefore we couldn't get another one. After 2 more calls and an in-person visit to the desk, we finally were able to talk to a different employee, who got us the second bathrobe. Overall, the amenities of the hotel, and the facade seem quite nice, but between the lack of good customer service, the cockroach, and the filthy hot tub, we were not pleased with our experience and got the feeling that the hotel cared more about its appearance than its guests. This is a Great find for us; We frequently return to Long Island NY to visit family. Viana is conveniently located close to the Expressway and Parkways. More importantly the accommodations are clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, helpful and proud of their hotel. I was impressed on the effort that this Spa hotel put into their ambience and with their pride in the eco-friendly efforts they've made within their hotel - from the wallpaper to the trash cans that were easily devided to allow for recycling. Kudos!!

Lovely new facility with the most wonderful bedding (and beds) I've ever experienced in a hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating; we were upgraded to a larger room at no additional charge. It is located between residential and industrial areas, with some rooms having views that are quite unlovely. this is a relatively new boutique hotel in an odd location, but it served us well. The room was very spacious (although I would have preferred the non-handicap shower), and the bed and sheets were very comfortable. My only real complaint was check-in. There were two front desk people and they both had rather lengthy customers. When one finally finished, […] a rather inebriated newlywed cut in front of me and the front desk person didn't say anything. Her business took quite a long time because she was late for her massage, et al. Anyway, the manager came out to help the newlywed, but instead of asking if anyone else needed help, he went back into the office! When the newlywed was finally finished (and the other customer was still being helped with the other front desk person (probably setting up her wedding), another man was about to skip ahead of me when I moved towards the front desk and she asked if I was being helped! Only stayed for one night on a business trip, but has to be one of the more comfortable beds I've slept on in a while. Great fitness room with nice machines. Did not have opportunity to use the endless pool, but pool/sauna area while small looked very nice. Would definitely recommend over chain hotels in the same LI area.

I rarely ever rate hotels except when I am not satisfied but this one stands out from the rest as it is nothing like I have ever experienced. The staff is polite and accommodating and the facility is amazing. Beautiful art work, the whole atmosphere puts you at peace. THE ONLY PROBLEM I FOUND WAS THE HEAT AND AIR UNIT WAS VERY LOUD GOING ON AND OFF ALL NIGHT

When the Viana was being built, I was shocked since the village of Westbury seems a weird spot. I have stayed at the other hotels in the area frequently, which are middle of the road / "expect little, get little' chains. The caliber of this hotel, the excellent and attentive staff / management, the immediate response to any request, the food preparation, service and selection at the restaurant and the overall facilities are a HUGE step above what has been available in Westbury. The highlight of the stay was the that the greeting at registration set the tone for the duration of my stay - high quality, extreme attention to detail, answering every question, a follow-up call to the room post receipt of materials and information to see if I need additional assistance. This hotel is a gem. We found it very comfortable, the staff was wonderful and was eager to help. The room was very clean and well furnished. We did not try the spa. I would definitely stay here again if I have a need to stay in Long Island again.

Found this hotel doing a search for a Long Island hotel for 2 nights on hotels.com. Was attracted by the fact that it was brand new. It was a great experience from beginning to end. We were in town visiting the campus of Hofstra and decided to stay somewhere other than a common chain. I looked at B&B's in the area but found the reviews for the Viana to be so positive that I made an immediate reservation. I'm very glad I did. If our son selects to attend Hofstra University, the Viana will become a frequent destination for my husband […] and I. In fact, I look forward to it! Don't think that I was the first guest in this new establishment, but was pretty close! That being said, the facility is quite nice and still has that 'new car smell' - hard to find anything wrong here! Some wonderful touches - a hot towel upon check-in (definitely chasing the spa crowd) and they cleaned the snow off my car overnight - why don't they […] put snowbrushes in rental cars??? The hotel was very nice and clean. I had no issues upon check-in, check-out or any up in my room. The wireless network was fast and reliable. This is going to sound odd, but the acoustics in the bar/lobby area were horrible. I stayed on St Patrick's Day and checked in as a group was in the bar. There was one loud, obnoxious guy with them and it sounded […] as if he were standing next to me at the front desk. The bar is just up a set of stairs from the reception area and the sound carried very well. After I'd checked in, I headed to the bar to eat dinner and have a drink. The previously mentioned annoying guy was there and making all sorts of noise. Again, the acoustics were such that it made dinner a frustrating experience. As it was St Patty's Day, I tried to ignore the guy but, ultimately, headed back upstairs to get away from him. Granted, I didn't complain about him, but I'd thought that the bar staff might asked him to pipe down a bit since he was dropping the f-bomb fairly frequently. I think we all gave him a bit of a pass since it was a holiday (of sorts). Anyhow, very nice hotel with a courteous, attentive staff, but be careful in the bar if you're sensitive to noise. Leer más

Was on Long Island for business. The location was very good for access to roads to get to the variety of locations I needed to go. The facilities were very good and the staff always very helpful and friendly. Was able to get at a price comparable to other hotels in the general vicinity that are nit as nice. The Viana is superb and, at the rate I got on Hotels.com a real bargain. I have special diet needs so I like a kitchenette, which I got by calling hotel directly and they happily gave me a free upgrade. All it has is a small fridge, sink and tiny microwave. They also supply nothing--no dish soap, paper towels, utensils etc. On request, they gave us […] 4 plates, glasses and silverware. There aren't a lot of great hotels in Long Island and this is one of the best. Relatively new, the staff is quite attentive and the rooms are clean and modern. For the price you really can't beat this hotel on Long Island. Got the couples massage it was wonderful, the atmosphere isn't luxury but the massuesses were the best. Ate at Parco Polo, great food and service, again not a fancy setting. The hotel room itself was big, nice, new, clean. Everything we expected and more.

What a find! Everything you could want in a hotel. There was an adult game room with a pool table, board games and an X-Box. The rooms were clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. There is a button you can push when you want the maids to come in and clean up the room and they are very promt. The staff goes out of their way to please. The excercise […] facility is spacious and has many different pieces of equipment. There is a steam room, sauna, hot tub and pool. The pool is the kind with a current that you use individually, you can adjust the current to swim against and remain stationary. The spa has everything you need for a relaxing day of pampering. A very nice hotel. Unexpected to find a hotel of this caliber in this location. Only downside was the ceiling light fixture was loose so it would rattle when someone would walk upstairs, and the thermostat made the room too hot or too cold, it needs adjusted. Otherwise a nice stay.

I was looking for a comfortable place to stay while I was on Long Island. I was so surprised to see how nice this hotel was...especially for the price we paid. Great service. Great location. Very comfortable...just what I was looking for. Nice lobby bar at the end of the evening.
