Servicios y comodidades"Great airport hotel"
Comentado por Andrew, dePalm Bay, FL, el dic 12, 2009
We stayed at this hotel just for the night after a late night flight. The room rate was extremely reasonable for the area. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We used the airport shuttle and was pleased with quality of service we received. We plan to stay here again if we take another late night flight into Chicago.

Not your typical hotel - games in the lobby, pool table, bar, etc. When we returned from an evening in downtown Chicago, we were surprised to walk into the club-like atmosphere - people drinking and hanging out to club music in the lobby. We didn't mind the scene - we just hadn't encountered a hotel that integrated the bar/lobby so seamlessly before. The music didn't carry down the hall to our room - which was nice. The room was comfortable - bed was nice. Added touch with the technology - can plug any device into a dock and view on the TV. The main downside was that the bathroom could have been cleaner. Mildew in the corners! Gross.

This place is great! The staff is friendly, great atmosphere and decor, and there is a shuttle available, plus it's supper close to the airport. The downside? It's located about about 20 minutes away from downtown on a good day, and you have to pay $20 a day for parking. If you can deal with that, I highly recommend this place.

I got a cheap rate through hotels.com, but the hotel did not look like a cheap hotel. I was very pleased with this hotel. the only i did not like was that there was nothing really around (besides a movie theatre). It had pretty empty surroundings, and the parking lot is across the street (no free parking). Overall, I did enjoy my stay here and would stay here again.

I got to the hotel and realized i had to pay an additional 18 dollars a night in parking fees which are hidden on the hotels.com website. When i got to my room it smelt of smoke. They did assign me a new room in a timely manor. But that room was in need of some major work. Shower would not get hot or stay hot. Shower grout and tile were extremely dirty. And the carpets had huge bumps in it i had tripped over it several times throughout my stay. Overall it was like most of the Aloft hotels i have stayed in but it just lacked that new feel and the parking was outrageous.

My brother, his wife, and I stayed at Aloft this past weekend while we were in town for the Supernatural Convention. It is a really neat hotel to stay in. Very modern and nice relaxing environment. The staff was great. When we called the front desk for anything they were there within minutes and were very friendly. The shuttle service was great and they will take you almost anywhere locally, not just the airport. Overall, I had a great time and will definitely stay in this hotel again when visiting the Chicago area.

Pros: 1. Modern Design 2. HD TV in room 3. Helpful staff Cons: 1. Pool Table right next to LAN center. Like you couldn't take some shots without hitting the guy sitting at his computer with your pool stick. 2. No Jacuzzi =( 3. Expect $18 for the parking garage. ($13 if you leave your car there for your whole stay) $18 will give you unlimited parking/validation.

Most important thing I could recommend to this hotel. FITTED SHEETS!! The bed wasn't that comfortable either which made sleeping a pain in the neck. You have to pay for parking at this hotel. I chose to do the hotel parking ($24) because it was closer to the hotel and allowed us to come and go from the hotel without having to dish out money at the parking garage each time we would have left the garage. Personally, I'd stay there again if it was only for one night. If it's for multiple nights though, I would not recommend it at all. This hotel seems to be rather new and not organized or professional as other hotels in the area.

Everything is Great except there's no Food/Room Service in the Hotel. Other than chips and sandwiches being sold in the lobby deli stand, you'd have to go out to eat. Parking is NOT Free and Expensive but I kinda' expected that from reading the previous reviews. Over all The Hotel is Great especially the room design which is Post Modern with the Flat Screen TV as a Come on feature! Highly Recommended and Would go back again for another stay!!!

Comentado por Jay, deLos Angeles, el nov 5, 2009
This was my first stay at an Aloft hotel. They've taken a modest hotel and added some design and coolness to appeal to young people. The room has cheap lighting and cheap bedding, but some cool design elements to make you forget about that. And the lobby area and bar really is pretty cool and hip. Bottom line: if your budget requires that you stay at a cheap hotel, this is probably the best option.

Loved this funky, modern, sleek hotel. Also really loved how "green" they are. Loved it and would stay there again.

The price I paid for 3 days was a very low, so I thought I would be in a whole in the wall. Yet I was pleasantly surprised. It is very modern, it smells very good throughout the hotel. The room was in top notch condition and the employees were very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this anyone, the only problem we had with it is that its 40 minutes away from the city.

Fantastic little hotel for a short stay. The in-room flat-panel TV has an input box on the computer desk so you can easily connect your laptop/PSP/iPhone/whathaveyou. We found the most recently copy of Spin sitting in the magazine rack in the sink area so you can feel really indie as your partner showers behind frosted glass next to you. The lobby has more of a club-in-a-residential-loft feel to it. You won't feel akward coming in at 3AM, completely hammered, looking for someone to play Connect Four with in the receded lounge. There is a small pool and workout area, but was not in use during my stay so I don't believe size will be an issue. All in all, best hotel near O'Hare for the younger crowd. Not _too_ cheap, but you do get what you pay for.

The hotel is awesome...the room was clean and comfortable...and the view from the hotel was nice! The only trouble is parking...it was 18 bucks per night...that was a bummer! Some hotels near the airport also offer free parking! So in terms of that a little pricey... But overall...it was a very comfortable stay!

My daughter and her friends really liked the atmosphere. It was laid back and relaxing. Had lots of community space to sit and chat. The music was hip and it was visually very appealling...not pretentious. Everyone was very helpful...they even found the souvenirs I left behind and mailed them to me. It was an easy commute into Chicago. The front desk helped with directions even to a Serbian Orthodox church. I really was pleasantly surprised and have already recommended it to several co-workers.

This was my second stay at this hotel. My overall stay was pleasant. I was a little disappointed when they charged me $18 for the parking for one night...Considering the location and the number of available parking lot, it was actually hard for me to figure out why they had to charge that much to a guest actually staying at the hotel. Yes, price per night is cheaper than the other hotels there was no mention on the web site about charging for the parking. The unexpected fee just ruined my feeling about this otherwise nice hotel.

Friendly and helpful customer service. This place is fresh and hip, with a lounge in the lobby. It is definitely not the cheesy, generic hotel cliche. Instead of elevator music, you hear electronica, trip-hop and downtempo music. The design is modern and vibrant. The bed is so comfortable, you won't want to get up in the morning. The room is modular with a great shower and bathroom. You'll feel like a celebrity if you stay at this hotel.

Totally exceeded my expectations...you'd think: Airport Hotel, nothing much. BUT - what a pleasant surprise. Casual type of front desk, but the atmosphere is a-buzz, with the bar, and lounge area within sight distance. The colors are funky, even the "elevator" is funky...and the rooms are sleek, and well-designed. VERY comfortable beds. I have already become a "face book" fan, and have recommended it to anyone coming to the Chicago area. It's worth it to stay out of the city proper for these great rates...you'll FIND a way in to downtown by train, WORTH IT+

If you're in need of a hotel close to O'Hare International Airport, I would recommend the aLoft hotel in Rosemont. They have a convenient shuttle from the airport that only takes about 5 minutes from door-to-door. The room was comfortable and quiet, with lots of nice fluffy white towels in the bathroom. One drawback is that they do not have a full restaurant (only a bar and snacks), and it's surrounded by other large hotels. They do, however, offer a ride to any local venue, or can drop you off at the Blue Line train station.

This is the second time I've stayed at an Aloft Hotel and I LOVE them! At first I was taken aback because it is a very different experience from a "normal" hotel, but I love the convenience center and games in the lobby, the room layout and the PRICE! They have great rates. The room furnishings seem upscale, but the rates are downscale. Am very much looking forward to the next time I'm able to stay at an Aloft!

Aloft was a very cool hotel, great modern design and clean. I was totally blown away by the cost of parking! $24 to park overnight...and the parking was across the street! If you have anything to carry, you almost have to valet. So, parking is ridiculous...in my opinion you should never have to pay to park at a hotel when you're already paying for a room. My only other complaint was that the coffee in the room was terrible and there's no room service. Seemed a little odd to me, but this was my first experience with a W hotel. Otherwise, if it wasn't for the high cost of parking, I'd stay again...I'd rather spend that money towards a bigger room with good coffee and room service.
