I have been going to this hotel intermitedly for a few years now to visit my step son with my husband.At first it seemed wonderful with a free shuttle from airport and indoor pool and spa and free breakfast buffet and good strong wi fi all for reasonable rates. As time went on the management seemed to change and so did most of these things. Shuttle […] from airport now costs a goodI chunk of $$ both ways, the wi fi just sucks, the 2 computers available for use are so painfully slow and in need of maintenance there's no point using them.I take my laptop to nearby Starbucks! the average price of rooms has also gone up quite a bit and my last visit when the toilet was blocked I was handed a plunger in a plastic bag whilst I was already carrying to go food and asked to return it to front desk when I was done. Having said all this the service is usually good and people friendly,the pool and hotub is still good and the fact is this is the only decent hotel in Cheney and with a pool,so they can charge whatever they want unfortunately for us. "Surprisingly Good Find"
This wonderful Holiday Inn Express is right next to the university campus in Cheney, WA. It is a wonderful find... clean, well-managed, great front desk staff. Highly recommended.

"great place to stay"
Our room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The service by all the staff we met was great. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. For our purpose the location was great, as we were in Cheney for our daughter's wedding, and the hotel was central to each location (church, reception hall, hair dresser, relatives' homes, etc). There […] was even a grocery store right across the street, and other businesses within a half mile, in case we needed to pick up something we neglected to pack. "Hotel Express in Cheney"
Your hotel was very nice unfortunately outside of the room the stairwells were very dirty and the same trash on the floor remained on the stairs for the duration of our stay (4 days). The one thing we were not happy about was that I had reserved my room on line and had paid for a room with two beds for my adult children were with us. When we got there […] we were given a king size bed with a sofa bed. My adult children had to share the very small bed and had a miserable night. We asked for a rollaway they wanted to charge us. Your staff gave us a two bed room for the rest of our stay yet I was not very happy that I had paid for the comfort of us all and was not given that because the hotel was full. I was a customer also and would have preferred to be advised of the situation than deceived into staying in a less than satisfactory room. I was very close to leaving and renting another room at another hotel. Your service was fantastic. Kayleigh at the front desk was exceptionally sweet and helpful yet even she was embarrassed she could not help us. The room given to us was on the first floor right next to the pool and it was very noisy because of the very loud traffic at almost all hours. Leer más

Overall this is a good, clean, well-maintained hotel. The only negatives were the air conditioner dried the air out so much we all had minor nosebleeds in the morning from dried out sinuses and the instructions given us from hotel staff for bus service into Spokane were incorrect so we ended up standing at the wrong bus stop and missing the bus. "Convenient, clean, with great breakfast!"
We stay at this hotel when we visit our son, his wife, and our granddaughter. It is always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is really good-this time, they had scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, a pancake machine, and all of the other, standard fruits and breads. "Clean, friendly, what you would expect."
It's not like there are a lot of options in Cheney. It's your basic, clean, helpful and nice employees, place to stay in the middle of pretty much farming fields! Free Breakfast, Starbuck's across the street, Eastern 3 minutes away, what else can you need?
"Holiday Inn-Cheney no customer service"
Starting with the check in process where my family and I, party of 4, are checked in to a room that sleep 2, and issued 4 meal tickets for the free breakfast were sent to a room that sleep 2. Returned to the front desk to ask Cody, who checked us in that he sent us to the wrong room, he replied, no I did not. I explained that my reservation was for […] a party of 4, he relied sorry but not my issue. He indicated that the reservation that he recieved for a pary of 4 from Hotels.com is for a room that sleep 2. I stated that, do you realize that makes no sense. He relpied, not my mistake and told me to contact Hotels.com. I requested a room that sleeps 4 and he said the hotel was full, with major attitude. A co-worker at the front desk with another party offers to switch rooms, the other party says sure, but Cody says that is not possible or an option. I had no other choice but to take the room with one bed, they squeezed in a roll-a-way bed for my son and my wife, daughter and I slept in the bed. "Very comfortable stay"
My experience at the Holiday Inn Express was very good. The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast was delicious. Bisquits and gravy were tasty. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and courteous and made me feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

"Wonderful hospitality!"
Every member of the staff that we encountered, from the front desk to breakfast servers to maintenance personnel were all very friendly. The motel was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the sitting areas in the lobby and breakfast area as well. We will definitely stay here again!

"Pricey but worth it"
This is the only hotel in Cheney, so there isn't much price competition to drive the price down, but for the price, it was nice. I won't hesitate to stay here again.

"Incredibly comfortable, spacious and CLEAN!"
We loved this room. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds, the bedding was super soft and cotton - no polyester roughness - the bathroom was spacious with granite counters and tile floors and we had our own refridgerator and microwave. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We were in Cheney for a function and EWU, it was so convenient. The staff was very friendly & professional, rooms clean and comfortable, would stay again and recommend to friends!
"Good hotel for the money"
Everything was fine-what you would expect. Across the street from a grocery store, Starbucks... which was handy. Only complaint would be sound insulation. Could hear neighbors partying but fortunately it was earlier in the evening. Will stay here again.

New Hotel which is only 2 years old provided excellent service, great breakfast choices. Of course the milk and cookies in the evening is a plus when children are present. The hotel staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. We have three children, and needed a roll-away for our third child. Instead of just giving us the roll-away, they put us in one of their suites that had a hide-a-bed couch in it, at no additional charge. The breakfast was top-notch.
