Radisson Edwardian Leicester Square Hotel - Londres 51.50884, -0.13017

Picked this hotel as it was close to the theatre we were going to. All refurbished and very smart and stylish. Room was small but fine for one night. Had everything we needed including free wi-fi (my husband had reports to do... so came in handy). Hotel bar closed at 11.30pm but we were told we could go across the street to the 5-star Hampshire if we wanted any more. Location perfect, just off Leicester Sq.

The location was excellent for touring the city. The rooms are not large and you should know that there are not facilities to hold your luggage other than the floor. The rooms were clean and modern. The small elevator was somewhat of a disservice for getting your luggage to your room.

Located 30 seconds from Leicester Square / 2 minutes from Trafalgar Square but away from the hustle & bustle (No traffic). Staff were all polite & helpful. Hotel very clean & well decorated. Room was a reasonable size, comfortable & well decorated. Daily cleaning of the room was to a high standard. Small pleasent Bar & Restaurant. Only ate breakfast there but there was a good choice from the buffet of all the usuals - fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, cereals, etc. They also cooked hot food on request. I would use this hotel again if visiting central London.

Very nice hotel thats is conveniently located right next to Leciester square just a short walking distance from all theatre districts, convent gardens and the thames!!although near to wide variety of bars, restaurants and other recreational venues the hotel is located down a succluded street so no interference from the lively night life of surrounding areas. I went away for a special weekend with my girlfriend and the radisson definately made it a weekend to remember with classy settings, very friendly staff and luxury rooms. Ideal for all visitors to the area inluding young couples or families!!

This hotel has great potential. Unfortunately, what it doesn't have is desks in the rooms. Any of them. Or desk chairs. Not even in the suites. I viewed a lot of rooms in this hotel, and many of the bathrooms also need work. I get it that Europeans aren't great fans of shower doors, but there are ways to design these to minimize how much water ends up on the bathroom floor. This is the opposite of how this hotel's showers were designed. Have extra towels sent up, because you will flood your bathroom. This next point is isn't for the faint-hearted... Splatter, say from a male using the toilet, will end up on the toilet paper rolls, the tissue dispenser, and the trash can. This isn't really a feature you want, is it. Finally, during my stay the fire alarm went off four times (over three different nights). Overall these are things that can be fixed, and when they do it'll be a great hotel. Until then, however, there's no way I would recommend staying here.

Stayed in July 2009. Great location and easy to find, would recommend this hotel and hope to go back again. Friendly staff, great breakfast, lots of choices.

despite very small rooms it's the noisiest hotel room i ever stayed in, you can actually hear every word someone else is speaking in the neighboring room - unacceptable.

The hotel was faultless. The room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were attentive. Excellent value for money. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We both really enjoyed our stay here, the hoyel is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal for those taking a short break in London. We will definitely choose this hotel if we ever visit London again.

Found this hotel to more than live up to its description. It was very centrally located for sightseeing, entertainment and in the middle of a very wide range of restaurants with the added bonus of being quiet. The staff were both cheerful and extremely helpful throughout our stay

I would recommend this hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Maid service was a little inconsistent but very good in performance. The mattress was a bit uncomfortable. Its location is ideal and central (close to the comprehensive subway system and theater district), and I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel overall. The rooms were very nice as well, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. However, after a tiring day of exploring the local sites, it would be nice to have a few channels other than the BBC.

a great, no fuss hotel in a quiet (!) location just off Leicester Square. Conveniently placed right by the ticket sales office. Small hotel, minimalist, beautifully decorated - all you need in addition to what is provided can be requested. Helpful staff. Superb breakfasts. Very handy for trains .

We loved the location, the lobby, the comfy boutique quality and the friendlyness of the staff. Unfortunately we had some big issues with the rooms. The first one was the very poor sound insulation - if and when somebody passed in the hallway outside the room there might just as well not have been a door, as the sounds and conversations came clearly through. Being a couple on a romantic get-away this did provide for some level of awkwardness. Secondly the furnishing of first room we were assigned was very poorly layed-out, as it was pretty much impossible to pass on one side of the bed because of an disproportionately large glass table and two easy chairs. Finally the room (facing the back on 2nd floor) was extremely dark, with the small windows facing a fire escape staircase and less than charming walls of adjacent buildings, leaving no view and only scant daylight ... it was actually a somewhat claustrophobic experience. We we told by the staff that no room with more light/view were available until next day, and spent the first of our two nights there. Next day the staff moved our luggage to 5th floor, and here we enjoyed a great room - which had the same footprint, but much better layout of the furniture, and a very nice light view of the surrounding rooftops with plenty of daylight coming through. Basically, if we could be guaranteed a room with the lay-out and light/view of the second one we'd return in a heartbeat, to enjoy the charm & comfort of the hotel - whereas we wouldn't care to stay another night in the first room. I say we should have been warned, and the prices should have been differentiated considerably.

A very enjoyable stay in London - excellent staff and lovely hotel, within walking distance of all we wanted to do, my son loved it and he can't wait to go back.

This hotel was in a great place if you are a tourist. It is right around the corner from London's hop-on-hop off tour and food is easily at hand, as well as much of London's great entertainment options. Was a bit pricey, but that is normal for London and you really are paying for location, location, location. Underground is a couple blocks and that makes transport to and from airport easy and affordable. We had a great stay!

The hotel was quite nice and the location great, but there was no quiet place to meet clients without incurring huge surcharges. The management was very helpful, but there was nothing they could do about the noise level in the bar area, or the lack of meeting nooks.

Et super godt hotel beliggende centralt i London (Leicester Square). Først indkvateret på 3. sal (superior room), men airconditionsystemet larmede hele natten, så vi anmodede om nyt værelse. Vi blev efterfølgende flyttet til nyt (superior room) på 6.sal. uden problemer. Perfekt lyst værelse og med stort toilet inkl. Karbad. Ingen larm fra gaden og god rengøring. Fantastisk service i receptionen i døgnets 24timer. Helt klart anbefales.

Hotellet ligger så sentralt og allikevel uforstyrret, og har en svært god service. Rommene er rene, velstelte og har det en trenger, men kanskje litt små ved første inntrykk. Det er da heller ikke så viktig når en ligger så sentralt til er det lett å ha London som storstue.

Hotellet är mycket trevligt och fräscht. Rummen (vi låg i deluxe) är ok - men det är lite trångt i hörnen runt sängen. Vi hade ingen skrivstol, minibar, telefonkatalog, turistinfo el dyl - vilket kanske man hade förväntat sig. Frukosten kanonbra fast man fick vänta lite vid vissa tider. Läget kompenserar dock alla små brister - det är kanon.

God service, søde mennesker. Fine værelser og god morgenmad. Vi kommer igen.

Vi ville ha ett centralt beläget hotell och fick precis detta. I en sidogata till Leicester Square ligger detta trevliga designhotell med små, men väldigt mysiga rum och all komfort man kan önska sig. Gångavstånd till nästan alla sevärdheter och massor av goda matställen. Stort plus för servicen på hotellet. Personalen var vänliga, kunniga och alltid hjälpsamma, även med lite knepigare frågor. Absolut värd priset.

Mitt i centrala London, närhet till allt. Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Rekomenderas varmt

beliggenheten var perfekt for oss, midt i alt, rett ved kinoer, teatre og multiple spisesteder. rommene var deilig avkjølte, der var god frokost og svært hyggelig personale.

Bestillte røykerom og fikk bekreftet dette, men da vi ankom fikk beskjed fra hotellet om de ikke hadde røykerom i det hele tatt. Dette var en skikkelig nedtur, gå ut på Leicester Square klokken 06.30 om morgenen for å ta seg en røyk når alt er stengt, til og med parken er ikke veldig spennende.

Ett läckert boutiqe hotell på bästa läge mitt i London. Ligger lite in på tvrägata från torget vilket ger lugn och ro från folklivet. Et excellent service och smakfullt inredda rum.

Det er et problem at der ikke er et arbejdsbord på værelserne, ellers synes jeg hotellet er udemærket. Men prisen sat i forhold til andre London Radisson hoteller, får man mere for pengene andre steder

Posizione perfetta per un fine settimana a Londara ed un Sabato sera nel West End. Nel mezzo del quartiere dei teatri, e di molti cinema e club. Arredamento e decoro moderno, ma molto caldo. Posizione tranquilla, pur nel centro dell'azione. Ristorante interno caro.
