Boston Court Hotel

I would be very careful about who i would recommend this 'hotel' to. I think it is most suited to young couples/friends who like travelling. The location is excellent. It is possible to walk most locations and the tube stop is close by (3mins walk). I was satisfied with the ‘hotel’ and i would return again for handiness. However this 'hotel' is not […] for every one. It is basically a big house with different floors. No lift and every one share 2 toilet which are on the second floor. The room has a shower cubical in one corner and a sink. These are all part of the one room. Breakfast is poor. You must ring down before 9.30 and they will bring up the breakfast around 30mins later. This consists of 2 slices of toast and jam, glass of orange juice and an egg if your lucky. No egg cups. The 'hotel' is VERY BASIS. Don’t go expecting much. For location alone it is perfect. I will point out that a person can get an all day travel card for £7 which includes zone 1-3 (as far as i know) so it is possible to get a better hotel with out too much hassle. Budget travelers only. Limited flushing of toilets, no toiletries, moldy bathroom and USED SOAP.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Small shabby rooms. One shared bathroom in the basement which you have to walk through a storage area to access with a broken toilet.

This hotel is in a nice area and has all the facilities you would expect in a more expensive place.

Call me petty if you want but what is the point of having tea and coffee in the room with sugar but no creamers. Asked the receptionist if they had any creamers and was told they didn't have any, I'd have to go around the corner to the shop to buy some milk which I threw out the next day. The next morning when breakfast was served to our room, it came […] with creamers...guess they did have some but the receptionist just couldn't be bothered to get any. The Boston Court Hotel, is a no frills hotel. It was ideal for me. It was clean and functional. i.e. I had was in a Hotel in a good location, with restaurants and pubs in the surrounding area, if I wanted to eat. The hotel staff are friendly and non-intrusive. My simple breakfast was delivered to my room, which suits me fine, as if I wanted something […] more elaborate I could eat out at one of the caf'e's on the local area. It is close to the Oxford Circus and ideal for shopping, as well as only a few minutes away from Marble Arch, tube station. I would definetly stay there again, as I prefer to have a decent place to sleep and the option to eat out anywhere, when I am on a break. (Only thing to take into consideration, is that as this Hotel is essentially is a renovated old house, the toilets are shared and the showers are a add into the room.) Leer más

I stayed one night at the Boston Court Hotel and wouldn't recommend it to others. First of all, I would say this is much more of a hostel than a hotel. Our room was small and cozy and we had to walk through construction to get to the bathroom which was being redone and as a result had no lock. The stay turned negative when I returned back from dinner […] to find several men chain smoking, drinking, and loudly playing cards in the room next to ours. This was not a hotel room and the door to the room simply read "private". Even with ear plugs in I continued to hear them until around 4 am when they finally left. Smoke is not something that ordinarily bothers me but with no ventilation my room was flooded with smoke (NOTE: MY ROOM WAS NON SMOKING and there was a big sign on the door that said so), making it even more difficult to sleep. although this hotel is shabby on arrical, and the room is quite shabby, but the warm welcome and service received was excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and the location is unreal, (just at back of oxford street) I would highly recommend this hotel for the budget traveller!!

Apart from the great location (only around a 2 minute walk to oxford street) this hotel doesnt have a lot going for it. It is old fashioned and dated and musty. we were on the 3rd floor, there were no working lights in the hall way, the room was tiny and dingy. there was a leak in the bathroom, breakfast was supposed to be brought up to us in the room. […] we did not take up this offer as we wanted to spend as little time as possible in this room. Not as I had expected. Friendly staff who were happy to help. Room was fair size and had a tv aswell as a fridge. Situated in the centre of restaurants and pubs. Although sometimes a bit cold and the radiator was only heated halfway, the heating was on all night however and the room was flexible enough to move the furniture around. Was wakened a few […] times throughout the night because of noisy passer-bys and sirens outside. Found out in the morning the window was open at the top and there was no way to shut this over. Nice surprise to have the breakfast brought to room. Boiled egg and toast was a gd start to the day. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend, maybe even stay again but will check windows if at front of hotel as could be noisy particularly at the week end. Leer más

Ett mycket trevlig B&B. Trevlig och mycket hjälpsam personal. Mycket centralt benäget i ett bra kvarter och nära till det mesta, 2min gångavstånd till Oxford street och ca 4min till Primark. Nära till tunnelbana.

Man får vad man betalar för ungefär..hotellet hade varit värt de om duschen hade fungerat. Kommer välrdens minsta stråle så jag och 2 tjejkompisar kunde inte duscha håret för de blev inte blött! 5 dagar utan att duscha håret.... Hade duschen fungerat så hade jag kunnat besöka de igen..men inte som de ärnu.

Dette hotel skal kun vælges pga. af belliggendeheden. Det ligger kun 2 min gang fra Oxford Street og en undergrund. Men alt andet er til gengæld galt med dette hotel.!!! Det var små værelser, vinduet var ikke tæt, så varmen røg direkte ud. Der var bad på værelset, men tilgengæld så var der ikke noget toilet. Vi havde bestilt 1 standardværelse med badeværelse. Da vi ankom blev vi vist ned i kælderen, hvor vi fik anvist et værelse m. håndvask og en gammel brusekabine. Når man brugte disse blev gulvtæppet vådt, som om afløbsrørene ikke virkede. Toilettet lå henne ad en gang. På et skilt stod der, at man ikke måtte smide toiletpapir i toilettet da det så ville […] stoppe til !!! Den inkluderede morgenmad blev bragt til værelset på en bakke. Ett billigt hotell med små rum. men för er som inte ska vara så mycket på hotellet så är det perfekt. Frukosten räcker väl inte för att kallas för frukost, men litet tilltugg på morgonen i alla fall.

Da vi oppga navn og adresse til en taxisjåfør sa han: "jeg ante ikke at det lå et hotell der". "Det gjør det ikke heller", svarte vi, for det er ikke et hotell, mer et motell. Men det er rent og selv om det er forfallent er det ikke mugg eller ekkelt å bo der. Det er hyggelige folk, rent og pent. Og det er ikke eget spiserom, slik at de serverer frokosten […] på rommet om morgenen, noe min tenåringsdatter satte stor pris på! Passe eksotisk med dusj i rommet og dele toalett med flere andre... Boblebadet det markedsføres med ville jeg vel ta med en klype salt. Men betjeningen er utrolig hyggelig! Og det er 5 min fra Marble Arch og Oxford Street og det er et meget billig hotell i den beliggenheten. Skal man, som vi gjorde, prioritere å bruke penger på shopping, så er dette ypperlig. Hotellet var ok, når man kun skulle overnatte der. Fordelen var den centrale beliggenhed ved Marble Arch metro station samt Hyde Park. Continental breakfast var ok, men der mangler et lokale, hvor man kan spise morgenmad, vi måtte sidde i sengen!

Great location of this small hotel. Poor standard of the rooms, no toilet - shower is not working so good, you get the breakfast on a tray to each in this tiny room. But clean and nice service - so great if you only need to sleep and what to be close to the city.

Vi havde 5 nætter på Boston Court Hotel og placeringen er kanon! Tæt på Marbel Arch og alle seværdighederne i London centrum. Selve hotellet er ikke noget at prale af, men de ansatte var søde, og desuden er man jo ikke på værelset hele dagen alligevel.

Billigt boende centralt i London. Hotellrummet användes endast till övernattning, då är det helt OK. Förvänta dej bara ett basic boende! "frukosten" bars upp på en bricka på rummet o den fick intas sittandes i sängen...inte mysigt med rostat bröd och marmelad bland lakanen! Ska du shoppa på på Oxford street så ligger hotellet bra till. Det är nära till bussarn som går till Standsted och till turistbussarna för London. Hotellet är väldigt enkelt ett typiskt engelskt hotell (B&B) och det är billigt.

　ロンドンは仕方ない？ でも、ひどすぎました。 B＆B？ホテル？ロンドン市内に用事があり、地の利で決めましたが、タオルゴワゴワで洗濯は、してあるのでしょうが、古くもう変えてもいいのではないでしょうか？ツインを申し込んでいたのですが、ダブルベットでした。訊いたら、部屋にシャワーがあるからいいでしょうと言われました。 　朝食は、八時電話しても電話してもってこない八時４０分にやっと持ってきました。 　一日目は用事があり、キッチンの隣の部屋で食べさせてもらったのですが、倉庫状態ですが、少し 片付けて食堂にしたらどんなに良いのでしょうか？ 部屋食だと言われて待ってましたが、テーブルもないので、ベットに運ばれた盆を乗せて不自然な姿勢で食べました。ちなみにメニューは例のトースト三枚ゆで卵一個オレンジジュー […] ス一杯、紅茶は自分たちが部屋のポットに湯を沸かし飲む。カップは自分たちで洗い自分たちが買った水で湯を沸かしました。 　来年、オリンピックを開催するロンドン、ホテルにホテルにある程度基準を設けたらと思いました。 Leer más

Perfekt läge för shopping, kommunikationer bl.a. stannar bussen från Stansted nära och sevärdigheter. Litet men trevligt budgethostell.Trevlig personal.

Hyggelig personell, men ødelagt seng, toalett i gangen, MEGET lytt mellom rommene og generelt skittent. Simpel frokost.

Riktigt bra hotell i min mening. Vi kom mitt i natten och dom öppnade åt oss, rummen städades varje dag. Bra pub med bra priser mitt emot hotellet, supermarket runt hörnet och bra kommuniktationer. Absolut inget att klaga på i denna prisklass, rekommenderas varmt för alla som vill ha ett prisvärt sovrum i centrala London. Hotelli on edullinen ja sijaitsee rauhallisellla rivitaloalueella, mutta kuitenkin kävelymatkan päässä Oxford streetistä ja shoppailumahdollisuuksista. Vastapäätä on mukava pubi, josta saa mainion english breakfestin, jolla voi täyttää itse hotellin aamupalan takia mahaan jäänyt tyhjiö (pikakahvia + 2 paahtoleipää hillolla). Henkilökunnan olisi toivonut […] olevan avuliaampaa. Huoneiden ylläpidossa olisi ollut parantamisen varaa: välillä pyyhkeet olivat unohtuneet, välillä laseja ei oltu pesty yms. Kaikesta huolimatta pienessä hotellissa oli turvallinen ja kodikas tunnelma. Valitettavasti kaikesta yrityksestä huolimatta yleiskuva jäi nuhruiseksi. Hotel liegt 5 Gehmin. von der Oxfordstreet und ca. 8 min von Madame T. Hotel hat gute Anbindung zu den Sight Seeing Bussen und der Underground Station Eine Straße weiter gibts Wechselbüros, Supermärkte, Restaurants, Banken und Apotheken

Detta är ett billigt hotell som ligger väldigt bra. Rummet vi hade var väl inte det mest hygieniska jag varit med om. Dusch och TV fanns på rummet, men toan låg i trappuppgången. Men för oss som endast var där över en weekend och skulle hinna med att se så mycket som möjligt under en helg så var detta hotell jättebra! Gångavstånd till alla de stora […] sevärdigheterna i London och servicen och personalen är jätte hjälpsamma och trevliga. Att rekommendera till de som ska endast bo där några dagar och inte kommer befinna sig på hotellet så mycket. Endast 1 gata ifrån Oxford Street där man kan gå i dagar och shoppa.. Leer más

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel - beside the small room and extremely uncomfortable beds, it was so cold in the room that we got very little sleep. The door lock jammed and we had to wait for a very long time to get into the room again. The staff was very nice and helpfull and the location is perfect - but would not choose this hotel again.

Boston Court Hotel er måske mere et Bed and Breakfast, men det var rigtig hyggeligt og personalet var rigtig venlige. Hotellet ligger 2 min. gang fra Oxford Street og Marble Arch Station som passede perfekt til vores besøg. Det trak en lille smule ind gennem vinduet, men det var ikke noget vi rigtig kunne mærke. Der var bad, håndvask, skab, et lille […] bord med spejl, hårtørre, tv og tlf. på vores værelse. Tv benyttede vi dog ikke, og tlf. brugte man til at ringe efter morgenmad som de derefter kom op på værelset med. Toilettet var på gangen. Hvis man ikke har brug for vild luksus, men bare skal bruge et hyggeligt og centralt sted at bo, er dette sted helt perfek til prisen. Min veninde og jeg har været glade for at bo der. Leer más

Vi er i London et par gange årligt, men har aldrig overnattet et ringere sted. sengen var hård som sted og så skæv at vi ikke ku sove. Varmen virkede ikke og det var frysende koldt, så vi sov med jakker og trøjer på. På badeværelset faldt hylder ned da vi lagde vores tandbørster der. Der var vilde skænderier i nabo værelset og alt ku høres helt tydeligt […] gennem væggen. Prikken over i¨et var dog sidste dag hvor vi bad receptionen om at bestille en London taxi til næste morgen og gentagende gange tydeligt afviste at blive kørt af privat minibus til 40 £ (25-30 £ over normal pris for ruten) og de alligevel bestilte privat kørsel. I wasn't expecting much so the small and shabby room didn't dissapoint me. The staff was very nice and helpful so it made a lot for the whole athmosphere. Also the location was excellent and price was obviously very cheap. Something extra was the simple yet tasty breakfast served in the room.

Ok Hotel. God beliggenhed. lidt snusket i hjørnerne. Her får man hvad man betaler for. Ok morgenmad

This hotel is really bad.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmen nicht. Mein Zimmer (Nr. 1) war unterste Kategorie. Frühstück kann man getrost vergessen. Mir ist zwar klar, dass das Hotel mitten in London liegt, trotzdem kann ich es nicht weiterempfehlen. Positiv aus meiner Sicht war das gute Essen (libanesisch) "just around the corner".
