Premiere Classe Dunkerque - Saint-Pol-Sur-Mer

Cheap and cheerful, we checked in late and left early so only used the room for 4 1/2 hours but was perfect for getting a kip after driving 14 hours before heading to Dunkerque ferry terminal for an early sailing.

Clean but Very cramped shower/toilet cubicle was an experience to say the least. Convenient location for car ferry. Excellent location close to major Carrefour store. Clean, quiet room with good quality flat screen TV. Would definitely use again.

Exactly what we expected, for the price, clean warm and hot running water, excellent for a stop gap on route.

my wife and i stayed for three nights at this hotel in september 2011, being disabled we actually got a ground floor room this time as opposed to a second or third floor, it was hot outside and no air to breath so switched on air conditioning but that blew warm air, you get a lot of noise from the dual carriageway that runs at the back of the hotel, […] pratts running along the rumble strips all night , it was pretty quite untill the last night when we had to catch the 04:00 ferry home, but above us we had a stupid frenchman who thought it funny to keep jumping up and down on the walkway above our room, the hotel is ok if you are only stopping one night , we had two people who had booked for three nights walk out the next morning saying they had booked a room not a cell, the place is ok if you are on a budget, take your own pillars with you as the ones in the room are so thin. enjoy your stay. Room stinks of smoke. Breakfast - Not much choice. Very noise location. Better of paying extra money for a better hotel. Oh and the shower was flooding. If I was you, look somewhere else.

This is a good overnight facility. It was easy to find on the perimeter of a large shopping mall. The service was good an the carpark was locked at 10pm. It was exactly what we expected at the price.

Arrived with very very tight parking space (pack and you can't get out of your own car! There are more parking spaces around the back - this is hard to see in the dark. Check in - grumpy welcome and service. took the 5euro breakfast since it was going Sunday next day. had the 2nd too last room in hotel. A desk on the side of the bed(small but nice) - bed sheets,pillow fresh smell. Wall smell. Room Lighting dimly lit and in wrong location. Room has auto control AirCon (great but smelt of people smoke from outside),Tv+remote, small shelf ok. Heater near door=never used(arrived in summer) very comfy soft bed-we both slept well all considering Bathroom suite:very claustrophobic, rubbish and Very very dirty! Fag mark on sink top. Shower plug hole has hair! Shower wall has never been washed down has scum mark. White Shower curtain was light brown! sink clean.Toilet Clean-ish. When showering water, slowly filled up show tray. Extractor not working,heat & moisture makes it unbearable after 30mins of use. Open bathroom door and leave AC on to remove room moisture. the whole room is the same size of a oil rig worker sharing with 4 other burly men with bathroom same size - I'm used to this but other won't be! Breakfast: avoid "hotel" instead go to service station. cold bread,no cold meat(s),no cheese, no croissant(we are in France after all). just jam,butter,orange juice, warm milk,coffee,tea and fruit tea, apple purée, plain yoghurt. half a cold breakfast. I'm glad I pre--booked forcing me to stay twice. If I had only booked for my outward journey and somewhere different on the way back I would never have entertained staying here again. On my first trip I arrived late due to delays. A gentleman met latecomers at the door as reception closed at 9pm. He spoke no English, as I have schoolboy French this […] made communication a bit difficult. He gave me our room-door card and we went to the room. It was obvious that the room had only recently been vacated as the bedding was all over the place (having obviously been just slept in) and the room towels were on the floor and still very wet. I located the door man who provided us with towels, but when I asked for fresh sheets I recieved a resounding 'Non'. I led him to our room, but he just said Non, and I couldn't communicate fully my thoughts. For the room rate I thought what to expect. Having said that Etap is equivalent price and better service. I have to say on the return journey things were better. The room was clean and the towels were also. This gave me a more balanced view of the establishment. But even the reception staff had more limited English than I've been used to at similarly priced establishments elsewhere. All in all I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend. Suffice to say, you get what you pay for. I'm sure others may use it quite regularly as a one-night ferry stop over in Dunkirk. I guess it's OK for this. This hotel was no frills but was convienently located for a night stay waiting for the Ferry over to Dover. Rooms were very small but clean. The area wasn't the best part of town but parking was in a secured area.

If you want a clean room for 1 night on your travels go ahead. if like us you want a jolly boys outing it is to far away from town. saying that the room is clean and does exactly what it says on the tin.will go back when traveling

Despite No Smoking notices the room smelled of smoke. Very small - don't bring a cat no room to swing it! Clean and fine as a transit hotel, and therefore good value.

Perfect roadside hotel for a good value overnight stay. No frills, small room and shower room, but fine for passing through.

Great value hotel next to supermarket with good value booze and great value fuel.

OMG!!! The hotel was situated in a very industrial area. The surrounding area that we had to walk through to get anywhere was littered with broken glass, clothes, womens underwear etc. The gate on the carpark was never closed which left me feeling very worried about my car. I removed all of my belongings, set my alarm and made sure that I had my insurance […] companies number before sleeping. THE ROOM. Another OMG!! The room we had was a 3 person room, with a bunk above a double bed. There was around 12" space between the bed and wall where you had to walk in order to use the bathroom and shower. The space in the room was extremely small and limiting. The toilet/shower was an extremely small plastic moulded room similar to what you may find in a small touring caravan. Beds were not comfy. The hotel is located within 100 feet of a very main road that has traffic moving all night long. The shopping center had lorries and cars day and night.I could not wait for moring to arrive so that I coud get out of this hotel and continue my journey. hotel convieneant for main road and ferry, next to carrefour supermarket, rooms next to main road are terrible as every car truck runs up the rummble strips on road edge keeping you awake all night, front rooms near reception quieter, staff very ignorant unhelpful, gardens been tieded up this year, and no dead rats outside rooms, our room pretty clean […] compared to other times, bigger shower room but no shower curtain so toilet gets wet when you have a shower, oh and it had one of those dreaded plastic garden chairs stuck in shower room. Convenient from the ferry and only a short distance to the town and beach. Local on site shops OK.

3 clean, comfortable beds for not much money - you can't complain!

The hotel is cheap and conveniently located within 20 minutes' drive from the ferry port at Dunkerque. The hotel itself is a bit of a pack-them-in-tight experience - the rooms are a little like ferry cabins, with thin walls and plasticky fittings; but they have everything you need for a no-frills overnight stay somewhere (toilet, sink, shower in a very […] cramped room, wardrobe, bed, door) as well as a television we didn't watch. The aircon fan was very loud and the wiring of the lights (think bare live wire terminals clearly visible and easy to reach and touch) would have been a worry if we'd had our kids with us (which we didn't).The hotel is located behind a large Carrefour supermarket, so don't expect anything upmarket. It's basic and there's nothing really to do and nowhere to go, so bring a book! The hotel looks nothing special from outside.The rooms are bit dark due to the small windows and the heater did not appear to be connected as the thermostat did not trigger the heater. Shower is ok but runs faster than the drain can manage.TV has no English speaking channels not even a news channel.There is a massive Carrefour 2 mins walk away with […] several eating places.Great for one or two nights but no longer. very basic - small room but small price - OK for a one nighter but would not want to stay longer. As common with many budget hotels in France the room reeks of stale tobacco. It suited the need and the price was fine.

Cheap and ok if you just want a few hours kip, I suppose.

Good choice to just stay somewhere over night when you arrive late and have to leave early in the morning.

Great Hotel if your after a cheap stop-over before/after catching the ferry. Pretty much the same as Formule1 and Etap Hotels, except this has free wifi. The building is old and draughty, so wouldnt stay here in winter.

CLEAN AND MODERNish. HOWEVER THE ROOMS ARE VERY SMALL FOR 3 SINGLE BEDS! WE HAD AN ENSUITE BATHROOM IN THE CORNER OF THE ROOM. AS SOON AS THE SHOWER WAS USED IT LEAKED THROUGH THE DOOR MAKING THE MAIN ROOM A LITTLE WET! I WOULD GO BACK BUT NOT FOR MORE THAN 1 NIGHT.

we arrived late at night not aware that without a credit card should have checked in before 9pm. the staff were very friendly, let us into the room (2 a.m.!). the room was basic but clean and comfortable. definitely wotrth the money and ideal if you want somewhere cheap to crush over on you way. will be back 100%

chambre correcte et propre. rapport qualité prix correcte. un manque de sérieux pour les heures d'ouverture de la réception durant mon séjour qui m'a obligé à prendre mon petit déjeuné ailleurs.

Si vous cherchez uniquement de quoi dormir, douche et toilettes (exigues) dans la chambre, ne cherchez pas plus loin. Espace de vie restreint mais rapport qualité - prix imbattable. JBB

hotel propre, facilement accessible, accueil sympathique (avions oublié portable, récupéré sans pb)

Belle nouvelle décoration. Accueil très sympathique. Service hôtelier de TB qualité. Attention à la literie, qualité très moyenne : gros mal aux lombaires au bout de 4 jrs !!! Et à la télévision où les chaînes sautent constamment.

De matrassen zijnvamn erg slechte kwaliteit

Um sich im Doppelzimmer bewegen zu können, mußte stets eine Person auf dem Bett sitzen und um überhaupt an schlafen denken zu können haben wir versucht das stark nach kaltem Rauch stinkende Zimmer durch die geöffnete Tür zum sehr verschmutzen Außengang und durch ein winziges Fenster zu lüften, dazu kam noch der enorme Straßenlärm. Dit hotel genomen om de volgende dag de boot naar Engeland te nemen. Hotelkamer functioneel ingericht. Voor het vermaak en restaurantjes enz. dien je wel naar Duinkerken centrum te gaan. Dit is niet op loopafstand.
