el transfer empieza despues de las 7.00am, si necesitas pillarlo antes, debes coger un taxi que nos cobró 25€ por menos de 2km Hotel lejos de ciudad y mala comunicacion con el aeropuerto Increible que un hotel de 4 estrellas, a las 7pm solo tenga una persona para todo el hotel. Me encontre que el cubre colchon tenia sangre seca, una mancha similar […] a la de la menstruación. Aviso a recepción y me comenta, que está sola y no puede venir a valorar dicha mancha que baje yo a pon una sabana limpia...indignado bajé y le comente que la situacion no era la correcta, me dijo q doblase la sabana de tal manera que tapase la mancha...al final nos dieron una habitacion nueva y esta si que estaba mejor. On the plus side, there was a bottle of champagne awaiting us on arrival (and cookies) courtesy of the hotel (at my daughter's request) to celebrate my birthday. A fine hotel very convenient to Airport and able to take late arrivals as we flew in so late that we did not check-in till 12.30 am. The free shuttle bus service to the Airport, Train Station and Duomo/Leaning Tower was great. We - family of 5 - arrived early at this hotel but were able to book into our rooms before heading into Pisa for the day. Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly providing maps of Pisa and information on attractions and prices. We had a GPS so were able to find parking in Pisa easily - many, many parking areas for those who wish to visit the Leaning […] Tower and the various museums in the area. The Hotel is located about 5 mins drive from the city centre, but public transport from the hotel is a little limited. Those who need to get to the airport need to be aware that there are no shuttle services and a taxi will be necessary - don't know the cost associated with this. We had a car and therefore had no problems with getting around. Car parking was ample, with underground secure parking also provided. Rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. We had a comfortable nights rest and breakfast was abundant in its choices of cereals, fresh fruit and delicacies. Restaurant is also reasonably priced and meal portions are generous. Would recommend this hotel for those who want to overnight, or spend time looking around Pisa and Livorno (which is close by). We were more than happy with this hotel. Leer más

We LOVED this hotel!!! The staff were very helpful and friendly. They have a FREE shuttle service that took us to the must-see sights. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were very comfortable. I would defenitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pisa.

Dirty stained carpets, walls and light fittings in room. Breakfast mediocre. Huge conference on a Saturday, blocking breakfast room, all the corridors and reception and creating lots of noise early in the morning. Area around hotel littered with prostitutes after dark, i did not feel sake walking around with my son. when we arrived we were very worried re the location, however the hotel offered a shuttle service although not advertised in the hotel or offfered by the reception, close to airport, pisa and the train station so easy to travel to Florence. We used the hotel for one night prior to a 7am flight from nearby Pisa airport. Though close by, the route to the airport is tricky and poorly signposted, particularly at night-time, and even Italian locals get lost

They mention a Courtesy Bus, but it was booked up, when I guess if you want it, book it early. This place is in the middle of nowhere, cost at least €10 to get anywhere.

This hotel is ideal for 1 night if a hotel close to the airport is needed (<5 minutes). It isalso a short drive to the main sights in Pisa where parking is fairly easy but expensive. I wouldn't choose to walk out from this hotel at night, but as there is nowhere to go to nearby it doesn't matter. Directions to the hotel are quite difficult to follow, but as you can see it from the main airport road this is less important. My satnav wouldn't plan a route to the hotel. Leer más

Very comfortable hotel and very close to the airport so extremely convenient if travelling to and from the airport.

It is in a rather rough neighborhood, although it seems as though most of Pisa is a bit rough around the edges, but the hotel is perfectly acceptable for a short stay before going to the airport. The room was extremely hot. We were assured the AC was on and working, but it didn't coold the room at all the whole time we were there. Very close to airport. Clean, efficient. A littel noise from the major road. Good shuttle service to the airport. Good if you arrive late and don't want to battle to town or are moving on early ther next day.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Pisa airport and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms which were well appointed and very clean. Perfect location if you are in transit--close to the airport, easy taxi service to the train. Free breakfast and reasonably priced buffet dinner very helpful/generous.

We stayed there 10/3/2009. We were keept waiting to check in with only one person checking in people. The person ahead of us had a problem. took 10 to 15 min to get to us. The room had dust all along the connor of the rug along the wall where the Vac could not reach. Other than that we were happy with our stay

We had a late arrival to Pisa and were picking a car up in the morning. The hotel was conveniently located for our arrival and departure. Although we didn't use the facilities everything seemed to be open on our arrival and the breakfast was good. The staff booked a taxi for us and we were able to sit in the lobby after checking out. Fabulous room, great value, 5 minutes from the airport

The hotel Galelei is what it is. It is a very modern hotel which is exceptionally clean and located close to both the airport and the centre of Pisa. Unfortunately although it is almost walking distance to the airport, the roads are so dangerous that you have to take a taxi and it costs £12 for the 5 minute trip. I asked for a non-smoking room, got a smoking room. The bathroom was just one large room with a shower in the corner (not seperated). After taking a shower the entire floor of the bathroom was flooded with 10mm of water, which made using it after dressed very difficult. Hotel staff was rude. He complained about the definition of a "child" by hotels.com and made it look like it was my fault. Food in the hotel restaurant was terrible (10 euro for one chicken leg?).

Anybody stying at this hotel please read the hotel brochure in your room. It states that the shuttle bus is FREE!!! So don't let them charge you. They tried to do this almost every day, saying it used to be free etc and many more excuses...It states in the brochure its free end of dont let them con you, Otherwise a wonderful stay and breakfast had a […] fantastic range..... This hotel is close to the airport and they run a shuttle service to the airport and train station so I found it great as I was travelling on to Sienna. It was clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff were really nice. Breakfast was ok.

The room was clean and nicely furnished, including a fridge. Bathroom, with shower, had a good range of shampoo/bath stuff & nice towels (second set were in the wardrobe). My Hotel Galilei is clean, modern and extremely convenient to the Pisa airport. It was a perfect selection for our 7:30 a.m. departure the next morning. The hotel is near an industrial complex but was there on the weekend so I cannot say how loud the surrounding area is. The highway that leads to the hotel makes it confusing to get to as it is under construction. Room a little small, to get the floors all tiled makes up for it. Some come with a balcony which overlooks the roads or the construction yard. […] Overall room is clean and well kept. There is free wifi in the lobby if you have an ipod or laptop. Reception very helpful to find a local restaurant downtown for good Italian food. Bilingual staff makes it easier if you don't speak the language. My Hotels Galilei is located near a major highway and a short distance to the airport. I did not hear any planes overhead, so don't worry about being too close to the airport. There is a large parking lot out front and the lobby is very large and clean with several flat screen televisions on the walls. The elevators are what I would consider the typical European size (smaller than American elevators), but they aren't so small that they feel cramped. My room was larger than expected, and while not 5 star quality, the decorations were very nice. The internet was not free, but it was very fast and I considered it to be worth the price. Hotel was clean, comfortable, modern etc. We were annoyed that you cant walk there from the airport - its very close but on the motorway. Taxis are 10 euros. The hotel advertises a free shufftle to town and the airport but charges 2 euros per person each way. Breakfast was a buffet - lots of food but not particularly nice in my opinion. Rooms are great with good facilities. Location is very good for the airport. Food and service at breakfast were excellent. If booking a taxi, be sure to tell reception when you want it, as i was waiting for 40 minutes only to discover they were waiting to hear when exactly i wanted to leave!

Be warned: the shuttle service is NOT reliable. I called in the morning before my stay to arrange for a pickup from the train station. They told me that I could not make a reservation but that I needed to call when I arrived at the station later that night. When I arrived at the station, I called. When I called they asked if I had made a reservation. […] I told them that no, I had not because they themselves had said that I could not. They then said that a shuttle would be there at 8:15. I waited until 8:45. The shuttle never showed up and I ended up paying almost 10 euro for a taxi. Also, I was unable to use the shuttle in the morning for my flight because the shuttle service did not start that early. So, if you're taking an early flight, plan on paying 10 euro for a taxi. What I liked: - close to the airport - shuttle connection to the city or any other destination in Pisa - breakfast was allright - broadband and wireless internet What I DIDN'T LIKE - plastic glasses in the room (not acceptable for 4star hotels in my opinion) - no proper blanket in the room (similar to one soldier use in the army) - we were three persons […] (me, wife, daughter) but have had only 2 blankets. Booked 1 night at hotel as had early flight the following morning. Hotel is one junction down from Airport. Hotel does offer shuttle service but this has to be pre-booked and whilst they say this is free in their brochure we had to pay 2 Euro's per person (no ticke issued?). The hotel very great so dont listen to the bad reviews. The hotel was very clean the staff were help full and food good (although alot of money) there isnt alot in pisa to do me and my fiancee did pisa in about 3 hours including the tower, but the train station isn't far so you can just get on and go anywhere e.g Rome, or fineze (florance) the train […] to rome cost 52 euro there and 35 back and took 3-4 hours so a long trip but well worth it, the taxi's have no set price and are alot of dosh!! it was 5 euro from the airport to the hotel and 12 euro back! From the train station to the hotel is about 12 max and on one trip is was 8 euro so cant really give you true prices. The hotel has a mini bus which will take you to the tower or anywhere within pisa but like i said there isnt alot to do. overall for 4 days i had a great time but a holiday is what you make it!!! This is a great place for staying if you're hading out via the airport or coming in late at night. Worked really well for us in that regard. Everything was as advertised.

Wij waren aangenaam verrast nadat wij via hotels.com voor onze tussenstop naar de Toscane dit My One Hotel hadden geboekt om Pisa te bezoeken. Met de shuttlebus naar het centrum , helaas was de laatste retourbus al bezet. Dus een wandeling vanuit de stad terug en genieten van een goede nachtrust op de uitstekende bedden.
