yo soy victor yo hago vacaciones con mi familia todos los anos y creame estas fueron mis peores vacaciones al llegar al hotel mi entrada supuestamente ere ala 1:00pm yo y mi familia llegamos desde new york ala hora indicada al hotel yo miesposa mi hijo de 9 anos y mi hija 14 ala 1:pm queriamos llegar rrapido al hotel por que el viage fue muy duradero por los tapones y las construciones que encontramos en el camino cuando llegamos al hotel en el a la hora indicada la super visora verifica la reservacion y luego dice ok ya estan registrados yo los lamos cuando la abitacion este lista yo le esplico que tengo un nino que no sesiente bien y solo dijo yo los llamo. yo en el momento no sabia que hacer por que estaba muy lejo de mi casa y seme ocurrio buscar una iglcia y pedir alojamiento por pal de horas y no fue asta proximo ala 6:00pm entramos al otel pero registraron que entramos a la 1:00 y eso estamal por esa supervisora y y una empleada que dijo asi es la cosa aqui si no quiere se puede ir a otro otel yo

Mi esposo y yo quedamos bastantes complacidos, esta cerca de todo. Lo unico que no nos gusto es que aun en el piso 6to. se escuchan todos los ruidos de la carretera musica, carros, etc. Encontramos que es muy costoso para lo que se ofrece.

Rooms are comfortable and the house is beautifully appointed. Mark's breakfasts are excellent: Healthy, delicious, and beautifully presented. Just ten minutes stroll into town makes this an excellent option for couples to enjoy Newport. "Marshall Slocum Classy Breakfast"
Breakfast at Marshall Slocum was very classy and very good. Would have enjoyed meat with the breakfast, but still very enjoyable. Individual air conditioner was quite noisy as it had to run most of the time. Very enjoyable stay.

"Marshall Slocum House - everything a B&B should be"
As a couple who stays primarily in B&Bs on vacation, we've got a pretty good perspective on them...and the Marshall Slocum House was a wonderful home base for our first trip to Newport. Lovely, elegant, wonderfully quiet and spotlessly clean, it's a pleasant retreat after the end of a long day visiting the summer "cottages" or rambling along Cliff […] Walk. And innkeeper Mark's breakfasts are super (his pancakes are the fluffiest I've ever eaten!), as was the talk around the table, and the friendliness of the other guests. The Marshall Slocum was a lovely house, very pleased with room and house. But found owner to be very grumpy, arrogant and rude. Also breakfast was very disappointing to what I had read in reviews. A great house but pity about owners attitude.

Mark is a gracious host, and very helpful with dining and sightseeing tips. The breakfasts were delicious! "wonderful B & B close to all sights in Newport"
Three of us stayed in this gem for an overnight get away to Newport. The rooms were very comfortable and the host/chef/hotelier was excellent. We had a lovely breakfast and a very comfortable night's sleep. Beds were fabulous. You could walk to the many sights and leave your car safely parked in the lot. I will definitely go back again!

The Inn was absolutely wonderful. It was adorable and quaint, just as an inn should be. The staff was friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Marshall Slocum Inn this past weekend. The owner Mark was friendly and allowed us to park our car and check in a few hours early. Our room, the Library Room, was clean and comfortable, exactly the type of New England room I was looking for. The location was about a 5-10 minute walk from the heart of town; was perfectly […] convenient to everywhere you would like to go. The staff was knowledgable - and Mark's warm breakfasts on the outdoor patio exceeded expectations!! I am wary of bed and breakfasts, and after a much research, I was very happy with my choice. "Übernachten wie dazumal"
Originelles Übernachten in einem schön restaurierten Haus aus 1850. Der sympathische Besitzer macht einem persönlich das Frühstück (Auswahl aus 3 frischen Gerichten), lässt einen aber ansonsten gerne auch in Ruhe. Zum Hafen muss man 10-15 min gehen.
