El hotel esta muy bien ubicado para poder ver la ciudad pero el tema de trasporte publico esta un poco complicado porque cae en medio de dos lineas que no se comunican entre si con lo que se hace dificil, que no imposible, llegar. Recomendacion poco equipaje. La habitacion es muy grande y con cocina muy bien equipada. Wifi desastroso, no tiene ancho suficiente y la mitad de las veces no funciona. Esta un poco viejecillo, pero muy limpio, con lo cual se compensa una cosa con la otra. Recomendable

"Burbridge Bed and Breakfast, Philadelphia"
First of all, there is no signage to note that it is a bed and breakfast. The neighborhood is in transition with house under renovation and yards that are not well kept. Although the porch is wide and at least six feet from the ground, it does not have a railing which made it a bit scary. The 1905 house is a work in progress. The rooms were adequate […] and fairly clean. There were rugs on the floor and in several places in the room as well as in the hall it felt as if the floor boards were weak or that there was a hole there. We shared a bathroom with the owner as well as with the litter box for the two resident cats. Although I have cats, I did not find this to be appealing. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this classic-style Bed & Breakfast, full of art and antiques, books and knickknacks. And the hostess was charming, friendly, and full of information about Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. She also has two friendly cats that one often finds lolling about. I do not recommend this B&B to anyone. Not well maintained or clean.

We were only there for a quick visit, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Incredibly comfortable bed, very clean, and had a nice breakfast the following morning. Very happy with the accommodations.
"Iffy neighborhood"
On the plus: comfortable bed, friendly kitty, gregarious host. On the minus: house needs a good cleaning and dusting, breakfast never varies, no place to eat within walking distance, wouldn't recommend walking home from train depot by yourself at night.

Wonderful service. The house is still being worked on, although should be beautiful when complete. The price was very reasonable. The hotel location was not ideal for my purposes for traveling daily to downtown, but the commute was beautiful along a very scenic route.

Having never stayed in a B&B I am not sure what I expected, but the Burbridge B&B certainly wasn't it. It really was more like spending the night at a slightly eccentric aunt's house than a hotel. And I mean that in the best possible way. The house itself seems to be in a constant state of renovation, which just adds to its charm. We are locals and […] were looking for a nice quaint, romantic place to spend Valentine's night, and Burbridge was just right. We stayed in the Parlor Room, which has a beautiful fireplace with a comfy love seat facing it that we couldn't have planned any better. Breakfast was a nice variety of fruits, breads and cereals and the hostess was gracious and attentive as well as entertaining.
