Marco LaGuardia Hotel by Lexington

the front desk tried to make everyone suffer by taking forever to check in and ask 100s questions about your reservation and personal identity. It was unbelieveable~!! If the Sheraton wasnt full i would never go here...........next time i wont even come here even the sheraton is full.....

The lady at the front desk told me, when i came in to get the key, that the payment from my credit card was fine, but she will hold $200 in card for insurance purposes and that there wouldn't be any charge my card when I leave the next morning. Is this practice normal?

The hotel is within walking distance of many asian stores and restaurants. The staff is very friendly, and the room was great.

very convienant to airport. shuttle bus every half hour or as needed. front staff polite and helpful. a hop from one of the biggest china towns in north america, lots to see.

The heating system was not running properly.

Great hotel with friendly helpful staff! Much larger room then comparably priced hotel in city. Convenient free transportation to and from airport. 4 blocks form the 7 line with 30 min ride into the city. Area neighborhood was awesome! I stayed here for my last night in NY because it was easy to reach the La Guardia Airport as well as Penn Station and it was fair priced compared to what was available on Manhattan. I reached the Hotel by Subway and I have to say the walk from the station to the hotel didn't bring us through the nicest area of Flushing. I was worry about this hotel because it is on the quieter side of Flushing downtown area. The location is not bad since it is just a few blocks away from the subway station, just enough to be away from the crowd. The staff are friendly and helpful. The interior is nice and clean. I got the studio suite, which is roomy and neat.

Everything was good except the wall between the rooms is super-thin. You can hear almost everything in the next room. Good location with a free shuttle to LGA. A bit far from the action in the city, though..

Shuttle was convenient, Eddy was very nice.

My wife specifically asked for a quiet room when we checked in. The first night, she kept waking up from a low frequency rumble. I gave her my earplugs for the second night, then I couldn't sleep due to the noise. At 1:30, I called the front desk to ask if there was a subway running under our room. The clerk replied, "No, your room's back wall is the […] elevator." I asked her for earplugs, and she stated they didn't have any. No offer to move us to another room. The next morning my wife complained to the clerk, her supervisor, and the hotel manager, who blamed and yelled at her for not having said something sooner! Leer más

We were in town for one night for a Mets game and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the place. They picked us up from the airport and were able to shuttle us to and from the game. They also dropped us off at the nearest subway station on the day we departed. All the staff were extremely friendly, the place clean and well-kept and we would […] definitely stay there again. Only thing that I would caution about....I am a deep sleeper so it didn't bother me, but from our hotel room, my husband was bothered by occasional sirens and sounds from the street. We stayed in Manhattan for 2 nights after leaving Queens and had the same problem at that hotel as well so I think that is a common thing with all hotels there in the city. My husband slept with earplugs a the other hotel and it solved the problem. I had no problems sleeping at all and would highly recommend and stay at this location again. Leer más

2 1/2 stars is more appropriate for this hotel. Extremely noisy area. Gym was less than adquate. Not in a good area.

We were stranded in NY and had to change airports from Newark to LaGuardia. Booked this hotel on Hotels.com, got there in a few hours and was pleasantly surprised at the extended stay room they offered us on the 8th floor. Great view of the bridge from this room. Big size room with kitchenet and fridge. Big size bathroom and a comfortable bed. Just […] the comfort we were looking for after a long day. I needed to change the date of my arrival and the hotel staff was happy to help. I needed an early check-in, and they were able to accomodate me.

Was not sure about a good hotel in this neighborhood, was very pleasantly surprised, and the Mango restaurant was very good....the staff very helpful.....we would use again and highly recommend. would be a great place to stay for a ball game or tennis event

Not far from LaGuardia airport. Staff very helpful. Room quite small but adequate. Surrounding neighborhood is Chinese and Korean and very interesting. Great restaurant (Joe's Shanghai) is only three blocks away: highly recommended.

This was my 2nd stay at the hotel. Had my end of the year party on a dinner cruise going out of the World's Fair Marina. Being that I live on Long Island and had to work (in Brooklyn) in the morning, I decided to stay with a colleague at the San Marco, as I did the year before. We were looking for an affordable option for a night away in the NYC area and the Marco was the best value. Hotels.com was significantly cheaper than other options. The location is great for drivers, or those flying out of LGA. The rooms are spacious and clean. We arrived late at night and wanted to crash, so we didn't follow up on the below issues, […] but they didn't make for the perfect night out. We found that our room smelled a bit like someone had been smoking and it was also chilly. In the morning we realized that the window was open a crack, probably the cause of both. The TV remote was dead and my wife said the bathroom smelled a bit like they used an old mop to clean it. We probably could have had both taken care of, but when you arrive looking to just relax for one night, you don't want to have to start calling the front desk. This hotel doesn't have it's own complimentary parking for guests, which is ok because there is a parking lot next door. The rates were reasonable, but beware that the attendants aren't the most customer friendly. Leer más

Marco LaGuardia Hotel by Lexington was very nice. I would stay there again if ever in New York. The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. Very nice business atmopsphere.

Hotel room was clean, bed comfy and walk to Citi Field!!! Parking only 18 bucks, great for an overnight trip to a mets game!!!

I returned to the Marco LaGuardia because I had a 1-day trip to make. I love the Marco. The folks there are super-nice. The shuttle service is very convenient. The room is very comfortable and a great size. This is my first choice when I have a quick trip into the city -- both times I have had to be in New York for 1 day/1 night, I've stayed here and […] been extremely satisfied. Basic stuff - overall nice everything, nice staff, great restaurant - your standard business traveler hotel. Nothing fancy here, but they do have a great Italian restaurant below. we booked this place because the Sheraton was more expensive. We were surprised as the reviews underestimate this place. We enjoyed our one night here we arrived at laguardia. Taxi fare is about $12-15 to this hotel. We stayed here because we were getting picked up for a bus tour meeting near Flushing station. Close to Asian(Korean,Chinese,Japanese)restaurants and grocery & department stores. Short walking distance to subway. Friendly and helpful staff.

Overall it's a pretty clean and spacious room. One thing is the bed is way too soft which is not good for my back!

This hotel was a great find. It was close to LaGuardia and had a great shuttle. The room was clean and nice. Our only complaint was that the hallways all smelled like cigarettes (the room did not though).

hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. the hotel was noisy (but expected in NY). they had a great shuttle service that ran to Laguardia airport every 30 minutes. a great stay!

They didn't clean the room for 2 days in a roll! When I called to inform, they said I had the "no disturb"sign on the door, which was not true. The room keys had to be reset every day in order to get into it. The room was very noisy, even though I'd asked for a quiet room. But I guess it is not possible, given the location of the hotel. This was an extremely clean, newer hotel, in the heart of Flushing Queens. It likely is the best hotel in the whole area, and is close to the chinese/korean neighborhood that makes this part of Queens great. It also is near all the very historical areas of Flushing, including Friends/Quakers house, Flushing Town hall etc... All in all, I would stay […] here without question. Leer más
